So beautiful. This store breaks my heart. Everything is lovely: restrained, simple, high-​quality. Artek is a Finnish design/​furniture company that was founded in the mid-​thirties by Alvar and Aino Aalto. This shop sells the very famous laminated birch three-​legged stool (the one used in the Apple genius bars), as well as characteristically-​Finnish paper and textile products, glassware, lighting and furniture. It’s all gorgeous.
