Amazing food, fantastic service. The perfect lunch in the center of Helsinki. We will especially like to thank our Danish waiter Kenni for a good service and providing us with helpful tips for what to do in Helsinki.

The world famous restaurant chain in Helsinki is no different. The venue is full of ‘gadgets’ from famous celebrities on the walls that you can curiously admire and the dishes are pretty good, pub style: burgers and starters. Do save some room for dessert as their selection is to die for. And do book ahead they can get pretty busy or you might end up waiting long. You may also check availability directly from their website.

My Hard Rock journey continued here in Finland. The café is on the second floor of a shopping center/building. It’s traditional HRC with the same menu but nothing special or typically Finnish. Guess I was spoiled at my last visit to the HRC in Fukuoka, having a ramen burger. Complaint — we went in, sat down and got our menus and then beers. Then I noticed… something is wrong. They had the televisions on with music videos but the sound was turned down! I asked the waitress, «is this the Silent Rock Café?» I asked where the music was and she said she would check with the manager. Fair enough; he came out with the computer and allowed me to pick some songs and explained that they had problems with the system recently. We had the nachos to start, always great and then ended with apple cobbler. A fun visit to a HRC, as always.

I love Hard Rock Café ! What I love the most is their amazing cocktails, seriously they are super creative and delicious ! I must warn you that they are a bit expensive but worth every penny I’m into the rock lifestyle so this place has a lovely decoration according to my taste. The place is divided into the bar area and eating area, so on one side you can just sit and drink and on the other side is mainly for those who want to have a meal ! I highly recommend it !

The best hot fudge brownie I’ve ever had. Once again I came to this conclusion, strongly recommend it to all other chocolate lovers. It’s a BIG portion so might be best to share it with someone :) It cost about 13 € so maybe a bit pricey but definitely worth it every once in a while. Love the international atmosphere of this restaurant and the fact that many of the waiters speak English. It’s like one can be abroad in Finland just for a quick moment :)

Great place to get to gather with friends, fantastic cocktails(little pricey). but this isn’t a place you will go so often. Maybe special occasion like birthdays. That day I saw 3 birthday celebrations.(Waitress will all will come and sing for you happy birthday and cheer for you just like in USA, if you like it it is great) Food servings are big. I had Hickory BBQ bacon cheese burger(19,95) It was testy and I felt so full after wards. They had also life music and place was full. I recommend that you book a table before going. Interior was just like in any other hard rock cafes. so is service. we were served in English, which was nice. Over all great experience, very international,. Overall feeling was, I could have been any hard rock café. so if you like little change for your routine definitely worth to try.

Live music every Friday at 9pm is now going on in the bar-side! Not just your average stuff either, lots of varying styles, different artist every week! People seem to be enjoying it a lot! They’ve had everything from a Johnny Cash tribute night, to Idols and Voice Of Finland finalists performing, to some of helsinki’s best rock bands on the underground circuit! Try it out!

I guess anyone who has visited a HRC will agree that«once you have seen one you have seem them all». Burgers are rather expensive and to be honest, I think the value for money is not that great. My burger had clearly been ready for a while before it was brought to our table so the cheese was already«un-melting», not cool! The service was good but not the typical over-American super-smiley-over-the-top-happy you are use to at HRC(or pretty much any American chain place around the world). For hardcore Hard Rock fans the place is obviously appealing but personally I will get my burgers in Helsinki from somewhere else…

This was our third European HRC and it was a pleasant experience. After taking an organized tour of Helsinki, we decided to stay in town for lunch. We were looking for something distinctly Finnish but instead saw Chinese, Malaysian, Steakhouse, Burgers, Hotdog stands, etc. So, we were a bit frustrated and knowing we had to be back to the ship by 3pm, we saw the Hard Rock and decided this would be the best place to get lunch given our situation. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly but … she would disappear for extended periods which was rather unnerving. We ordered the 10 oz. Legendary Burger. A very big, tasty burger with an onion ring on it. Comes with plenty of fries. Very filling and an all-around good burger(with cheese). I had a Karhu beer for a Finnish flair to the meal. Enjoyed the beer too. I would recommend this location, although the server could be more attentive and not be so unavailable.

Had a nacho platter(huge — shared with a friend) and a Caesar salad with salmon. Milkshake with Baileys for dessert. The food quality was okay but the service was slow, although some waiters really stood out in a nice way for their sunny attitude. Overpriced, not going back anytime soon but an okay experience mostly due to the brand value.

Service was a disappointment. Took a long time to get the food. Had ordered burgers medium+, they came to us medium-rare. Took a very long time to get the new one. Had to specifically ask for discount at checkout — they did not offer anything spontaneously(e.g. free soda refills could have been a nice gesture).

FINALLY! A place in Finland that can make a regular margarita that tastes good! You have no idea how many restaurants and bars I’ve gone to in search of a decent one here. Fine, it costs roughly 11 euros but I don’t care. That’s how happy I am about this. Their food is typical of any Hard Rock Café but, unlike many Finnish restaurants and burger joints, their hamburgers are actually YUMMY. Almost 20 euros for a hamburger and fries so I wouldn’t come here all the time but you’re paying for the whole«Hard Rock Café» experience which is ultimately outgoing staff, wonderful service, yummy food and Whitesnake and such type music videos playing loudly around you. The music memorabilia hanging on the walls is interesting to look at, as well. I like this place.

When stepping through the door of the new Hard Rock Café you first enter the HRC Store where you can buy all the well known T-shirts, sweaters, glasses etc. The stairs get you up to the real café. Unlike most other HRC the one in Helsinki is built in a lounge style. It is not dominated by the typical yellow and orange colors but rather by a restrained purple. The second floor is huge and divided into a restaurant and a bar area. The location was chosen very well. It couldn’t get any more central. You have a beautiful view on the facades of Stockmann and all those city lights on Mannerheimintie during the evening. The menu is more or less the same you’ll find in any other HRC which doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. They have amazing food. But you shouldn’t count calories if you come to dine here. Try for example the Hickory Smoked Pulled-pork Sandwich. Or just ask the staff for recommendations. They are very friendly and glad to help you. What might be a bit surprising(for Finland) is that you have the option to tip the waiter when you pay. Of course you will also find lots of items from famous Rock and Pop stars on the walls. Walk around and take a look. They also have small explanation signs next to every exhibit.
