This is a typical traditional Finnish restaurant: décor is rather dark, the menu could’ve been the same for 20 years and meals are pretty hefty. The food is tasty and of good quality, though, and service is good. Kellarikrouvi definitely attracts business(wo)men from the nearby offices, but you’re unlikely to see a hipster here. If you’re looking for a place to take your grandparents or your more conservative relatives or in-laws to, this could be a good option. They have a buffet, but you can also choose a full menu or choose from the à la carte. The personnel can recommend a good wine to go with any meal choose.

Had a very nice reindeer steak. Friendly staff and good service. Two floors(cellar and ground/first floor).
