I have visited Korjaamo couple of times for a beer but had dinner there first time at Friday evening on beginning of August. I was there with a group of 10 people. I wasn’t impressed at all. They were busy, but it doesn’t explain their almost rude service attitude when bringing food to the table. The cook and other staff were also nagging to each other loudly when we were making our orders in the bar line.
My burger steak felt and tasted more like boiled, not grilled, and was gray in colour. Tiny burger was 15 € and had a small brioche bun, this steak and some yoghurt-​coriander sauce and hardly nothing else — no lettuce or other greenies. Fries were ok though, but two weeks after visiting the States and this being the first burger after the trip I was mostly devastated. Waste of money compared to many other places in Helsinki. My friends weren’t impressed either.
I may still grab a beer with my friends there sometimes but will avoid eating there.
