I’m Moko Loco! (translation — «I’m crazy about this place). Café + Home Décor = Yes, please! Moko Market is a wonderfully curated mix of home décor items from near and far. I took a particular shine to the selections of party décor(who doesn’t need some paper lanterns!?), coffee and tea section and the beautiful textiles. They also have a great array of gift cards, cushions, Indian cabinetry and bits and bobs for just about anyone. It’s like Finnish version of Anthropologie, minus the clothing and plus the coffee shop. VERY kid-friendly: a very cute children’s playhouse, children’s table for eating, child-friendly loos, and just about everything is fit for the small people in your life. I didn’t happen to have mine, but almost wished I had given how great of a setup Moko was rockin’. In terms of the café — we enjoyed several coffees in their seating area(bright, clean and spacious), there is also a more private meeting room that is available to be booked that looks to seat about 8. Big fan of Moko — very beautiful setup, even nice to just poke around and gain inspiration. It’s like a whole Pinterest board just came to life and popped up at this corner in Helsinki. Brilliant!

There is a section of the café devoted entirely to children. It’s off on another side of the market so that people can’t hear my baby screaming his ever loving head off while I enjoy a delicious salad or croissant sandwich in sweet oblivion. This is my favorite place to meet up with other moms or take a little«me» time while my child exercises his lungs. The market itself carries Method cleaning supplies. This is the only place in Helsinki where I’ve been able to find them. They sell a variety of quirky homes goods, decorative items, and cute things like aprons and hand-knit hats for grown ups and children alike. Their lunch is affordable and delicious, the staff are overwhelmingly warm by Helsinki standards(I’m American… we hug strangers there), and the overall vibe is very California. Feels like a little slice of home. Set in an industrial space, they’ve done a great job of making a warm and inviting space to shop for unique items and enjoy yummy food, too. There’s a lot of café space, a room that is great for groups to meet, and of course the whimsical and comfy children’s space. There’s no one that Moko is not a good place for. So happy they’re in our neighborhood.

Moko Market’s salad bar is legendary; it’s open all day and you can choose from 3 different daily changing fillings — and they are delicious. I also like their pastas and especially soups. One of my favorite places for lunch in Helsinki. Also the shop around Moko is pretty cool too. Lovely place!

I dont know why I wont give 5 star but this is one of the best Café/Home Deco shop combo you can find in Helsinki. Café latte is almost as good as Roberts @ Töölöntori
