Nice hotel not too far from the city center. Not a huge lobby but enough for a group to sit down if check in or out gets busy. A small coffee bar right next to the check in desks which had snacks, drinks and coffee. There’s a bar/restaurant right in the lobby as well, although, you aren’t too far from plenty of dining options. The rooms were decent sized and clean and modern. Decent sized LCDTV in the room. Coffee, and fridge was also nice to have. Plenty of closet space. Bathrooms had the complimentary shampoo and cream which is always nice. The breakfast in the lobby restaurant was good. Full spread of cold cuts, bread, eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, etc.

This is a pretty nice and pretty expensive hotel centrally located in Helsinki. I was there for a conference and this was the chosen hotel so that was the reason that I stayed there. I did enjoy the place for the week. The room was a decent size with a desk and television and channels that were in English. The bed was so darn comfortable too and the breakfast… well, there was a lot to choose from although the young girl making the omelets the morning I wanted an omelet seemed to be having a quasi-meltdown. Excellent food though. I love variety. My biggest and I guess only complaint was that the bathroom in my room smelled a bit like a New York sewer. For 160 Euro a night, you would think that they could hire a plumber to sort that out. But overall A-OK with 3 stars only. Get rid of that smell and a would happily bump it up one.

After 26 hours of travel from the West coast of the U.S. To Helsinki Finland we fumbled around looking for this Hotel. In hindsight it is nearly a straight shot along the main road up about(south west) .6 miles from the main train station. Far enough to justify a cab if the weather is wet. There is no grand lobby entrance which is so common in the US. But the interior is inviting and warm. The front desk spoke good English and had us checked in quickly without issue. The Room was upgraded to business class on the eighth(top floor) level. One of the nice perks from being top status with there hotel member program. Breakfast is also comped for the same reason. The room is appropriately sized with a very large bed. Nice dressers and plenty of closet space. There is a modern LCDTV that we did not have an opportunity to use. When entering the room place your key card in the slot next to the door. The room will wake up. With lights and soothing music from the TV. The marble bathroom was very well done. No sloppy Masson cuts to be found. The floor is heated. So nice! Water pressure is great. We had dinner snd drinks at the hotel bar. The meal was outstanding. No question the mozzarella salad was fresh. The cheese was still warm and melted in our mouth. Placed on a bed of red leaf lettuce. Pomegranate seeds, figs and grilled veg was included. It was wonderful to have something original and well crafted. The falafel and tabouli also made for another great meal. See photo for detail. With the wide variety of nearby options we may not make it back again. But we had been very happy with meal and service. Breakfast starts at 7 M-F.

Great location, within walking distance to the downtown attractions and fairly close to the ship terminals to head to Tallinn. The overall quality of the hotel was nice and the rooms were a basic quality. The room was clean which is all I really ask for. There was no hotel gym but you could pay 5 euros to workout at a close-by gym. Overall I would say this was a decent value for the location and price.
