I have been stay with Radisson Blu hotel couple times already, the Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel in Helsinki is quite difference. The room my partner and I were staying got a quite nice balcony, I always want to stay in the hotel room which has a balcony, thanks to this hotel. It became true, the part make me like it more, it was facing to the harbour, really cool view. Well, of course there were some part I didn’t really like in the room, it wasn’t so big as I expected. The matrass in the room was a bit dirty. The handle of the door to the balcony was also quite broken, the bathroom was a bit small and dirty as well. The rest of the room was good. I’m usually don’t take care these details, but it was quite oblivious. The hotel also has gym, sauna, restaurant. It was a bit pity, we didn’t have enough time to try out the gym and the sauna. The restaurant was nice, very nice decorated. We went there for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was quite nice, they even offer some gluten free breads for the guest. I do think they could have more choices for warm dishes or fishes. We also have free WIFI from the hotel during our staying. It was great to have it, to look up some local information. They also offered some computer near to use and some information flyers at the lobby. The stuff were really helpful and friendly as well. The tram station which tram 6 and 9 just close by, made it much easier for us to travel around the city. We have a quite lovely time here.

My 2nd stay in Helsinki was in this hotel and I was quite impressed with the room. The location was quite beautiful as well, unfortunately I was there for work and didn’t get much time to enjoy the facility. Taking a monorail from Central takes around 10 minutes, and its close to nearby Shopping area. There is a dockyard nearby and walking there for a stroll is perfect especially in summer time. The room is reasonably big for a person and its quite cosy and comfortable. I was jet-lagged from my flight from Singapore and I hit the sack not long after! I almost overslept for my work as it was just too comfortable! I have to praise the Finns for designing such beautiful rooms. Will I come back here? Yeah, at the right price of course. The breakfast was pretty good, it consists of a good selection of mainly Western food and I had stuff myself pretty well until I almost couldn’t walk!!! My overall experience at this hotel was a great one and would certainly recommend.

A nice hotel close to the sea area. The rooms are totally ok even though furnishing looks that its coming from the 80´s. The beds are not the best I have slept in but after long hours of work it filled its function. I do not know why, but I sneezed incessantly inside the hotel. Wifi connection is free you´ll get a code when you check in. I would say the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I visit in Helsinki but far from the best I tried. It so happens that me and my company decided to have dinner at Viola the restaurant inside the hotel. We waited for 15 min for a host to get us a table. But when the servant came he simply said that he might not be able to get us a table. We asked for confirmation and told we are guest of the hotel. I saw many empty tables inside yet, he said it would take 30 min to fix one. The bar was only occupied by 4 other persons and the staff were mostly busy talking to eachother. Since it was such a big issue to get us a table we deiced to go elsewhere. All in all — good place to sleep.

A big fan of scandinavian design, this was my first stay in the Radisson SAS. I was there as a business traveller. The hotel Is nicely located close to the sea and not too far from the business district. I was expecting Scandinavian design everywhere and especially the egg chairs by Arne Jacobsen. This was not true at all, the hotel was not really design and looked pretty plain, boring and oldfashioned. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not eat in the restaurant, cause there’s a bunch of good places outside. The breakfast was not really up to my standards, bread was old, coffee and juices not freshly made. The sauna is nice on a cold day and the rooms are fine. Bathroom was really small. Would stay again for business, but not privately

Insgesamt gut.
