Best view of the city! This place is an absolute must see for anyone visiting Helsinki! You have to take an elevator from the hotel to the top floor, and then walk up a spiral staircase to get to the café/bar. Once there you will see that it is quite small inside, but there are two spacious balconies with several tables and wonderful views. And they have blankets for you to bundle up in if you get chilly. The cocktails here are quite good and there is free wifi! Unfortunately, they do not take American Express(as I found many places in Helsinki do not) but this place is great! There are even spectacular views to be seen from the bathroom! At night the rooftop tower lights up and sparkles. It can be seen from all over the city. Love it!

As other UnilocalERS have noted, the roof top bar at Hotel Torni is definitely worth a stop, especially before sunset to maximize the experience. If arriving too close to the magic hour, however, be prepared to wait in the slow line at the bar as table service is next to non existent. Drink prices seem to be on average for this type of venue, enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. There is very limited indoor seating, and there are two outdoor seating areas, one on either side of bar/entry. Be aware that since both outdoor areas qualify as «outside», nearly everyone seems to light up and the smoke can be pervasive and discomforting to non-smokers. Overall, Hotel Torni makes for a beautiful place to enjoy the view of Helsinki.

Go to the rooftop! I didn’t actually stay in this hotel or eat anything here, but our tour guide told us about the rooftop bar and view. You can see basically the entire city from up there, and even though there’s not much space, we got a table inside. It gets chilly at night! The drinks are expensive though, but I guess that’s expected for such a space. Something in the hotel is Michelin rated, so try out whatever it is! Anyhow, great view. It’s the second tallest building in Helsinki!

Definitely worth a visit, especially for a drink at sunset in the 12th floor bar. Surprisingly not just tourists, but appears to be many locals too. Drinks are pricy, but you expect that for a place with a stellar 360 degree view of a major city. Fun too because it is a small birds nest kind of place with outside decks. So more intimate than you might expect. Would hate to be a bar back there lugging cases of beer up the spiral stairs though!

Best view of Helsinki! TaKe the elevator to the 12th floor, followed by a spiral staircase to the top. There are multiple viewing points giving you a 360′ view. Being Winter time we enjoyed a nice glass of mulled wine, about 10 €\glass. If youre there in the Winter and looking for somerhing to warm you, they were also serving coffee and hot chocolate cocktails.
