Excellent speakeasy cocktail bar with detective theme. Feels like entering another time and place. Cute toilets, good service and lovely atmosphere. I can warmly recommend for some tasty cocktails and nice vibes. :)

Don’t know why, but I felt really uncomfortable in the bar. One reason was probably slow service, while there weren’t that many customers in the bar. Also the seating was not optimal, we had to stare the wall in uncomfortable chairs. The concept is interesting and the cocktails were very good, but I was just waiting to get out.

Probably the best coctail place in Helsinki (and Finland). This is a secret bar near Kauppatori. Coctails are made of best ingredients available. Huge Gin Tonic list!
Bartenders are great and atmosphere is awesome. If you like to drink good coctails — you must visit this bar!

What a place! The speakeasy of Helsinki! Décor has really been thought out and it has incredible amount of details. Even the entrance has been made in a true speakeasy spirit. First of all you have to find the right door from katariinankatu and after entering you have to call with old school phone and the staff will come and either let you in or say how long it will approximately take.
This place serves wide range of different drinks and cocktails and to my knowledge the cost varies from 11 – 13 €. Also the staff will make special drinks to your liking if nothing from the list suits you!

Ring the phone. Ask for Mr Trillby. He’ll let you know what you need. They can offer everything you’d expect from a modern detective agency. They’ll find missing people or help you prove your innocence. But you won’t be innocent by the time you leave this place. In fact, you may go missing.

Trillby & Chadwick is such an amazing speakeasy. You have to be a little detective to find the undisclosed black door from the short street and once you do, navigate your way in. However, once there you will truly appreciate their elegant décor, attention to detail and — most of all — the amazing cocktails they offer.
Perfect for those secret afternoon cocktails or shady evening encounters it is also a great place for friends to gather up before or after dinner.
