Sokos Hotel Flamingo

Comfortable room, big view, attached to the Jumbo shopping mall. Comfortable, clean beds and a TRUE nonsmoking room– hooray!
We stayed for 3 nights and location was PERFECTION. Easily catch the 611 or 612 bus right into downtown Helsinki and the 61 to the airport when you sadly have to leave.
Friendly staff, who were indredibly helpful eith figuring out buses and everything. An amazing breakfast spread.
Best hotel breakfast we have ever seen. They *could* make the bacon crispy which would of course make it more delicious but perhaps almost raw bacon is the style.
being attached to a big shopping mall made it even better because you can get anything you wanted down there including groceries! need to buy some souvenirs before you go home just buy them here!
A last-​minute Hesburger? Get it here! Frisbees for frisbee golf all in Finnish? How about some car Flags, a Suomi hockey jersey, or a Finnish made bike? Beer, jam, tea, coffee, cheese (keep cheese in the orig packaging for customs!) —-everything you need to stuff in your suitcase before you go home.
I can’t say enough nice things about the Flamingo. There is zero reasons to rent a car when you come to Finland. Staying here gives you even fewer reasons! Can I put 10 stars?
