The place to be. mis à part ça, un patron d’une humeur inégalable qui saura toujours avoir le mot sympathique, les plats rustiques et fins à la fois, un endroit impeccable un rapport qualité prix correct dans un cadre excellent, en cas de blanc dans une conversation nous n’avons qu’à lever les yeux à fin de voir le nombre d’artistes passer dans cette salle

3 of us ate there last night. Our kind host (the son of the owner) made suggestions, a few of which we went with, a few we passed on. We had the truffle pizza, artichoke salad and roasted chicken with potatoes, which was all absolutely delicious. While we were having the salad and pizza, he brought three very small side plates of one of his earlier suggestions (a truffle ravioli) because he «couldn’t resist» and it would be «criminal» for us to leave without tasting it. It was rich and quite nice. After the massive meal, they offered us the dessert menu which we passed on– we were stuffed. A few minutes later, several waiters showed up at our table with one of every dessert they offered — the plates literally covered our table. Included was a HUGE lemon merengue pie, tiramisu, a family size bowl of ice cream and 4 other things I can’t recall. We thought this was very generous of them (full disclosure, one of the people at our table was a celebrity so we assumed it was to impress him) but we were really too full to eat more. To be polite, we each tasted the tiramisu and the ice cream. The rest was left untouched. The bill was paid (around 350 €) and we left. Later, the person that paid checked the bill and saw that THEY CHARGED US FOR THE TRUFFLE RAVIOLI AND ALL OF THE DESSERTS! Really? And — to add insult to injury, on our way out they insisted that our famous friend take a photo with the owner which we had gone out of our way to avoid.
For such a nice place, this blatant ripoff came as a total surprise and was simply tacky and offensive. Despite the quality of the food and the good service, we won’t be back on account of this faux pas.

I have eaten at every popular restaurant in town (recommended from the wonderful concierge at Hotel Du Cap — Eden Roc during my annual visits). Michelangelo is absolutely the best dining experience I have had anywhere abroad.
Upon entry, the man at the desk was extremely welcoming. The atmosphere was picturesque– like we were in old-​time Provence. It was busy yet intimate at the same time. Our waitress was divine. NOTE: I would say that were selective about their treatment. There were people eating there given the cold shoulder, and other tables given extra attention. We dressed the part, so I guess we fell somewhere in the middle. Definitely important to be conscious of that~ but not necessarily a bad thing!
EVERY single thing we had was to die for. Let me tell you, in my family I always have something to criticize, always the first one to complain. I was floored, and speechless.
Complimentary Onion Tart– Wish I could have ordered more. Delicious and sweet. Great start.
Foccacia de Tartuffo– None of that fake truffle oil BS you get in the States. The real deal. Worth the steep price.
Carciofi Salad– Excellent, very Italian with Carpaccio-​like artichoke slices and fresh lemon.
Baby Chicken– Cooked perfectly, full of flavor. Comes with roasted potatoes served right in the cooking pan. Nice touch. The onions were sweet and flavorful on the dish.
Spaghetti Michelangelo– Asked for this spicy (arriabiata). Jam-​packed with fresh veggies, in a light tomato sauce. Zucchinis, bell peppers, onions, and fresh tomatoes, along with that kick (very spicy!) was great.
Maybe the only thing I’d say was that the lemon meringue pie was only A-​OK, which wouldn’t even have been that bad had it followed such a divine evening.
I strongly recommend this restaurant, and I wish I could bring it home with me.

Tres bon restaurant italiens au coeur d’Antibes. Les plats sont savoureux et tres soignes.

Jamais eu de mauvaise surprise
Très bonne cuisine, très copieux. Les produits sont frais et de qualité. Un peu cher mais nous y sommes allés a de nombreuses reprises et nous n’avons jamais été déçu. Pensez a réserver c’est presque toujours complet.

Je m’y suis régalée! Un peu cher mais très sympa!

Un restaurant dont on m’a parlé plusieurs fois, nous sommes donc allés avec des amis. C’était bon puis rien d’autres à rajouter. On a eu un peu de mal à trouver.

Formidable
Un établissement raffiné, à l’ambiance romantique et à l’accueil chaleureux. Le Michelangelo propose des produits extra-​frais, et haut de gamme: truffes, poissons selon arrivages… Tout est fait maison, de la pâte de la pissaladière aux raviolini, en passant par les gnocchi! Au final, ce restaurant est une grande adresse, que je note en gras dans ma liste des valeurs sûres.

Réputation surfaite. Un resto italien pour les touristes anglais et allemands. Mauvais service.Tarifs prohibitifs. C’est ici que venait diner Madof lors de ses séjours a Antibes. Le patron se prend pour une star.

Mediocre
Oui c’est un restaurant connu, certainement pour les photos de star qu’il y a sur les murs… En restant objective, les plats tel sole et ravioles d’artichaud sont excellents, mais tout le reste…: desserts basiques où prone mouche, la pissaladiere brulée pour faire pacienter, mais surtout le pire pour un restaurant, l’accueil– j’en ai fait beaucoup des restaurants et en genéral mes critiques sont plutot elogieuses, mais je n’ai jamais eté aussi mal recue que chez eux. Si vous etes une «Star» vous aurez peut etre la chance d’etre a une bonne table, et d’etre accueillis avec le sourire, sinon… tant pis…

Restaurant tres bof bof! Serveur pas sympa et la carte est bien plus alléchante que ce que l’on a dans l’assiette!
Allez ailleurs ça sera certainement meilleur ;-)

Décor, ambiance, plats italiens délicieux. tout est beau et bon au Michelangelo.
Un très bon retaurant sur Antibes à né pas manquer.
