Unexpectedly modern– beautiful interior. Set in a tiny village, I might’ve preferred country rustic, but this worked too.

Spicy, salty, crunchy, moist– tons of flavor packed into this tiny ball.
— Tartare de Gambas (⁵⁄₅)
Never had a shrimp tartare before actually but really good! The snap pea velouté was silky and a great base for the tartare.
— Quasi de Veau (⁵⁄₅)
Never had a braised veal come out in such a thick cut, which originally made me nervous about tenderness, but it was tender and flavorful. The mushroom was also delicious– wish I had more. And the herbed mashed potatoes were perfect.
— Ecume d’Ami du Chambertin (⁵⁄₅)
Never had rich, velvety, frothy cheese like that before. Salty and creamy. Mmmm. The little gingerbread slices were also the perfect accompaniment.

Good but a big sweet and rich for my taste. Beautifully and creatively presented, deconstructed and upside down in a martini glass though!

Considering the number of quality dishes for this meal, I’d say 32 € is a steal.

Wow– unexpectedly modern, creative, and delicious dishes in this decidedly country setting. Great spot to stop and recharge after a morning of wine tasting.

The finest French Restaurant in my world. I have travel France extensively and have also dined at many of the best French restaurants in Manhattan but Le Millesime is in a class all by itself. Everything was a perfect as you will ever find — from the quaint, intimate restaurant itself to the very hospitable staff to the food. I have nothing bad to say and can’t even thing of anything merely «good». It was, as perfect as anything I’ve ever dined in.
I would strongly suggest you pay it a visit.

This is a pleasant surprise, tucked away in this tiny village. We happened to be visiting a cellar nearby and had no reservations for lunch. Despite that, we were able to be seated here even though the restaurant was quite full. I recommend making a reservation. I believe we were lucky to find a seat. The food is artfully prepared and quite delicious. It is, perhaps, adventurous for some. But very very good. The service was friendly and adequate, although for this level of cuisine I would have perhaps expected something more serious in terms of service. I, however, did not mind this. I enjoyed the relatively relaxed atmosphere.

Quand une Box cadeau échoue dans vos mains il faut bien en faire quelque chose… Alors le choix s’est porté sur ce restaurant dont la localisation à Chambolle-​Musigny laisse présager quelque chose de bien mieux qu’un banal resto parisien. Et le choix fût bon. Ce restaurant «sur-​joue un peu sa classe»: le service est très solennel… mais la salle rend bien avec une déco très (trop?) moderne. Au niveau culinaire, on peut toujours se dire que le niveau d’une box né reflète pas ce qui se fait de mieux dans un restaurant. C’est probablement vrai ici aussi, mais au final j’ai quand même été agréablement surpris. Le menu «box» est plutôt sympathique et correspond à un vrai restaurant gastronomique. La carte des vins est bien fournie en témoigne les 4 immenses caves à vin vitrées visibles depuis la salle.

For a town of 300 people to have this amazing restaurant is incredible! We enjoyed it so much we are there two nights in a row! The first night we did the tasting menu which was not only beautifully prepared but tasted amazing. My only complaint was I ate too much! Oh and they have a Fabulous wine list! 800 or so on the list! The second night we created our own tasting menu… Damien and Adrien were terrific servers — enjoyed talking with them immensely. And you can’t forget the marshmallow experience at the end of the meal. Makes you feel like you are in a scene from Willy Wonka! Will go back next time we are in Burgundy!
