My husband insisted I get some macarons since they are one of the most famous places in Paris. 1.99 euro with your boarding pass a piece and although these are refilled by macarons coming out of plastic sleeves, they were damn delicious! Rose petal and salted caramel were so good! Marie Antoinette while pretty(blue!), was not as good, but it was described as black tea based. I’d say pass on that flavor. Good for buying for long plane trips back to the US!

I was told from my roommate who is from France that these macarons are the absolute best and they really are. My favorite flavors are raspberry, pistachio, and vanilla. I also tried Marie-Antoinette tea, passion fruit chocolate, and cherry blossom, but I wasn’t a big fan of them. I saw that they also sell champagne! Hopefully I get to come back to Paris and try the macarons with the champagne one day!

Well, there is not much else to do in this terminal so why not try out these world famous macarons? There were 16 different kinds the day I was there, and unfortunately coffee was not one of them. The 10 I tried were all great, though some didn’t taste of much more than sugar and almonds. My favourites were pistachio, blackcurrant, and chocolate; they were all intensely and accurately flavoured! Though it may seem expensive at 2 euro per macaron, each cookie is expertly made and makes a lovely gift. It is at least worth trying. Even if it’s just for you, they box it up nicely and include a booklet with a short history of the company and pictures of the different flavours.

I’ve heard good things about this shop. Most of my co-workers stop by here to buy macaroons before flying back to the states. They say that this is the bees knees when it comes to their little cookie sandwiches. There wasn’t a big line when I came about the shop so I was delighted I’d get a chance to purchase an assorted box. I think the whole set came out to be € 30 not bad… right around € 2/cookie. Anyways, I bought it, had it bagged and brung it back to Detroit. We busted the box open and proceeded to do taste testing. There’s a folded guide in the back with the flavors of what might you be tasting. I only say that because the flavors don’t come with pictures so you’d know exactly which one your sinking your teeth on. There wasn’t one that we didn’t like, every single cookie is absolutely the cats whiskers. There is truly none higher. I’ve enjoyed the box of macaroons you’ve sold me. Next time I’m back around and there isn’t an atrocious line, I will purchase another box from you. Thank you so much for reading my review.

It’s really convenient for Laduree to have a shop at CDG, allowing their huge fan base to bring«fresh» goodies back to the US for friends/family/coworkers/etc. To my surprise, they aren’t marked up. They’re actually the same price as the Paris locations — € 2/each. And, of course, tax free, if you show your US passport/boarding pass to the cashier. I just found out a DC(Georgetown) location might be opening in the near future. This would be the 4th location in the US — aside from the 2 in NY, and 1 in Miami.

My sister and I ordered a box of 16 macaroons each. The macaroons were beyond amazing. It’s the best I have ever had. The only con about this place is that the service is very slow. They take their time giving you your order. We both told the lady that we wanted to pay together and the lady working their completely ignored us. She made us each pay separately.

Even though these macarons were purchased at the Airport before leaving France they were the best Macarons on this particular trip to Paris. We had the Rose, Lemon(Citron) and Pineapple(ananas) which were perfect. If you end up in a terminal with Laduree you should definitely check them out!
