Bön brunch avec bon service ! Moment agréable en terrasse où nous avons pu prendre notre temps, pains à volonté et même des verres d’eau à la fin.

Food was not that great, even the regular French breakfast stuff was very mediocre and my wife’s soup was terrible. The bakery next door had much tastier croissants. It looks pretty nice from the outside but I guess it’s made for tourists without any consideration for quality. And of course the service was terrible, the waitress didn’t really care and didn’t even bring us water. We had to ask her twice before she brought some over. But service seems to be a constant disappointment in France (Sign.)The food usually made up for it but here it was definitely not up to the French standards.

Absolutely appalling service! My wife an I decided to stop for breakfast here as it looked like a nice place.
We sat down outside an waited for 10 minutes. No one came over so I walked inside and picked up a couple of menus and sat back down. Another 10 minutes, nothing. I walked over to one of the male waiters, he said he would be with me shortly. 10 minutes later there was no sign of the waiter. My wife raised her hand to get the attention of one of the female members of staff only to receive a dismissive hand gesture like «shoo» or «go away» before going to take another tables order that had arrived long after us.
Needless to say as hungry as we were after waiting so long, we weren’t going to eat there.
Service and attitudes like this need to be highlighted and Unilocal is just the tool to do so.
I think this is my first 1 star review but but believe me there is no other establishment in Nice more deserving than Le Coin Quotidien

C’est une chaîné. … j’ai vu le même ds le marais :-(
Du coup toute l’authenticité que dégagait l’établissement s’est envolé…
Moi qui pensais presque que dans le sous sol il y avait des boulangers qui travaillaient et façonnaient le pain… bin non :-(
Cpd, j’avoue que le pain y est très bon, l’accueil, c’est vrai — dépend de la personne de l’instant.
On y mange plutôt pas trop mal — les assiettes du service ont l’air sympa, moi je suis 1 adepte du petit dej (selon formule: pain varié, beurre — confiture, viennoiseries, pancake, oeufs etc etc…)
Les quantités sont respectables — attention je suis 1 fille.
Et puis la ou je fait très attention, ce st les cuisines, elles st visibles ds la mesure où elles st au sous sol direction des toilettes — jusqu’à aujourd’hui: nickel.
Enfin qd à la note… je dirais que ns sommes sur nice au cours saleya… compter ²⁰⁄₂₅ euros pr 2.
Je trouve qu’y venir en fin d’aprèm est aussi très agréable pr y prendre 1 goûter sympa — à plusieurs la note monte relativement très vite — c’est je pense le principal frein.

Très bon endroit pour prendre un brunch qui et excellent .Et leur meringue très très bonne.

Un des meilleurs endroits pour bruncher. Le décor est superbe.
Mais la nourriture est quand même assez chère. Les boissons chaudes sont servies en petite quantité et c’est dommage.
Mon conseil: goûtez les meringues géantes.

Café moyen, Cappucino pas terrible ce qui est dommage pour ce type d’établissement. Par contre la terrasse est agréable pour prendre un peu le soleil

We sat down our table was wiped with a filthy smelly cloth. The soft boild eggs were cold! The hot beverages were delayed by 10 minutes. The bread served was stale. When I finally went in to ask where the tea and coffee was. I was told if I wasn’t happy I should leave.
Disgraceful, sanitization, service and food.
Please beware.

We came here for breakfast and it was an overall great experience. The service was good (owner was a little scary as he sat not smiling near the front). There were a lot of things to choose from to eat and the menu had an English translation for the breakfast, which was nice.
I had the salty pancake, which was 2 small pancakes with bacon and a sunny side up egg inside (the egg was over cooked, so I just took the yolk out). There was a salad with vinegrette, which was tasty and a basket of bread to go with it as well as coffee the way you like it.
My husband had a platter of cheese with bread.
We should have tried the yogurt parfait because everyone else was eating it. The food was just average and nothing special.
The ambiance was a 5 and it was warm with big tables.
Overall it’s a nice place to stop by.

Food is good, not great. I recommend if you come to get salads. The beef stew was good but I think it saw a microwave. Coffee and bread is really good. Recommend smoked salmon with potatoes.

L’emplacement et la déco ont fait gagner à mon avis une étoile supplémentaire. En ce qui concerne la carte, je dois manifester mon accord avec les autres internautes: les options sont souvent trop chères. Le brunch est bon, mais sans plus. Avec un prix horriblement cher par rapport à la quantité servie. Par contre, les goûter, dessert, et options sucrées sont très bons. L’endroit proposé également à la vente de certains produits préparés et certaines huiles. Le tout dans un packaging super beau, le rapport qualité prix est encore à confirmer.

le meilleur endroit pour prendre un petit déjeuner ou bruncher tout est bio (confitures délicieuses,…) prix un peu élevé
