For anyone from LA, this is like the Portos of Paris. What this means is great value and tasty pastries. A personal pizza, normal croissant, chocolate almond croissant, and another chocolate pastry was around 8 – 9 euros. It is an absolute steal considering that each item was fresh, flaky and tasty. You could get 4 macarons from the specialty macaron shops, or you can get utterly stuffed with delicious pastries for the same price. Don’t get me wrong, the macaron’s are good, but sometimes you’d like to get stuffed off pastries. Boulangerie Julien will let you achieve such a goal!

Pretty solid Parisian Boulangerie. My boyfriend loves the Baguette au Cereals. Regular Baguettes good, get hard really fast though. Their cakes are maybe the best in the neighbourhood. Especially the crêpe one! Reasonably priced. We celebrated two birthdays in Paris and got cakes from here both times. Service is okay. They aren’t the kindest, even when you attempt to speak French.

Don’t even get me started on how good this place is… if you love pastries, you have come to the right place. Excellent variety or the BEST pastries around. My personal favorite is the pistachio éclair. Just heavenly!

Love this bakery! We had a great time browsing their delicious baked goods and picking a bunch of croissants and one of the beautiful mini cakes to take with us back to the hotel. The staff was quite friendly and answered all our questions. We must have gotten like 5 – 6 different things to try. I remember sitting in our hotel room that night, brewed two cups of coffee and enjoyed a chocolate brioche and that mini cake(forgot the name, but it was a chocolate mousse). Unfortunately, we didn’t come to this place until it was the night before we fly out. But thankfully, we got some extras to take with us to enjoy the next day on our flight home. I’d definitely visit Boulangerie Julien the next time I come to Paris.

This bakery is amazing. We came here almost everyday for breakfast and to grab lunch to go when we went to Versailles for a day trip. I tried a lot of things here and I think the best ones were the goat cheese/salmon petit bread, the five small breads for 2 Euro(only in the morning) and their framboise and custard beignets. Their tart pie slice is not good and it’s too heavy. Their croissants are excellent. Their quiche lorraine is ok. The guy that works here is really friendly. They offer to toast or warm up your goods, which is a nice touch. It’s really easy to spend $ 10 on food here. They have ready to eat salad and sandwiches too. TIP: There is a Starbucks down the street!

Great neighborhood Boulangerie. It’s a one stop shop for sandwiches and pastries. I love picking up fresh bread in the morning for breakfast. Their Pain de Mie, Pain Aux Cereales, and Baguettes are very good.
