Buffalo Grill

Ok I’m an American and I ate here bc the English friend I was with was craving steak. Otherwise I never would have gone to an «American Grill» in paris.
But it was awful. We only waited a few minutes for a table on a Saturday night but ordered drinks at the bar. We ordered two rum and cokes but got tequila and cokes instead! Is that even a thing?
We both got steak and although I ordered mine rare, it was overdone and terribly chewy. I couldn’t finish it and wouldn’t have fed it to my dog.
The service was below average and we were finally treated to the stereotypical service one expects but doesn’t usually receive in paris. Very rude waiter.
I would NOT recommend unless you like eating garbage.

Malgrè que ce restaurant soit très bien placé dans Paris et que la nourriture a été plutôt bonne, j’ai été très déçue! Surtout que je n’étais pas seule, on fêtait l’anniversaire d’une amie et que c’était ma première fois dans ce genre de restaurant. Un accueil désagréable, des plats proposés qui sont non disponible et un service très lent.

Seul soucis la quantité 100 gramme de viade certes c’est la quantité normale d’un homme moyen, mais je me souviens des anciennes assiettes dans les années 2002 – 2003 où on avait 4 steaks de 4 animaux différents (l’assiette du trappeur).
Là la petite brochette avec une petite assiette de frites. Bref sinon c’était bon.
Service correcte.

Bien situé
En plein dans la place Blanche, à la sortie du métro et en face du Moulin Rouge. Le personnel est sympathique, on y trouve la même nourriture que dans tous les buffalos grill, le personnel est souriant et serviable. Le service est rapide et les prix abordables.

Decent steakhouse in Paris. The ribs were nice, as was the salad. The steak was not that flavorful. Tried it from a friends recommendation. You can do better elsewhere.

Bien au niveau des viandes, par contre les frites… sorties du congel’, sans goût, pateuses… On se croyerait au restaurant universitaire. Pas acceptable quand le midi même je mangeais de bonnes frites maison pour le même prix dans un autre restaurant parisien.
Le service quant à lui est juste correct. La politesse de rigueur et rien de plus, pas mal d’attente alors que le restaurant était à moitié vide.
Au final, rien de catastrophique, mais il y a tant de bons restos à Paris…

After being treated rudely at a café, we came here for dinner. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and plentiful. If you’re looking for a non-​French restaurant and are in the area, this is a good place to stop.

Hier kann man Gut und einigermassen Preiswert essen.
wir waren gegen Abend dort, haben Draussen gesessen, die atmosphäre, der trubel war genial.

Schließe mich der Meinung von Negro18 an. Für Paris super Preis/​Leistungsverhältnis, lecker Essen, gute Portionen, freundliche (auch sehr kinderfreundliche) Bedienung. Es war das beste Essen was wir in den drei Tagen in Paris hatten, ohne astronomische Preise zahlen zu müssen. Sollte wir noch mal in Paris sein, werden wir garantiert wieder reinschauen.

Super geil! Ganz tolle Betreuung der Bedingung, hat mit uns deutsch gelernt! Das Preis Leistung ist für Paris sensationell aber halt Bürger, Geflügel und Fleisch! Wir gehen morgen wieder hier hin. Auch Am zweiten Tag Super!

Très mauvais accueil, serveur très désagréable et impatient, occupé à rigoler avec ses collègues. On demande l’addition et 30min plus tard toujours rien ! La nourriture est sans plus, et très cher pour ce qu’on a mangé. En un mot, n’allez surtout pas dans ce resto.

My experience so far of Parisian cuisine is that anywhere which has been designed to look like somewhere a tourist would feel comfortable is a place worth avoiding like the plague, and Buffalo Grill was absolutely no exception.
In hindsight it was a little optimistic to think that Parisians would have any inclination to make this a positively memorable experience, and being an American-​themed place directly opposite the Moulin Rouge suggests that their prime focus is going to be mopping up slightly sozzled merrymakers visiting from other parts of the world.
That probably explains why the burgers were flaccid, wet, anaemic apologies-​on-​sugary-​supermarket-​buns, which conjured up some of the more terrifying parts of Eric Schlosser’s «Fast Food Nation». The fries were a limp, sweaty, tasteless affair, and about the only redeeming feature of our meal was glancing down and noticing that a previous diner had tried to scratch a warning into the table: «Run now, it’s s*».
If only we’d spotted that before it was too late. Perhaps if they rendered it in the large neon lettering favoured by other businesses in the area then we’d have stood a chance.

Escale gourmande américaine très sympa
Un grand bravo pour l’accueil exemplaire réservé à la clientèle: de l’entrée jusqu’au dessert, tout le personnel est au petit soin pour vous. Très orientée vers le boeuf, la carte n’en propose pas moins d’autres saveurs pour ceux qui n’auraient pas envie de la viande bovine (par ailleurs fort bien cuite tel que demandé): salades, poissons, poulets et les ribs, naturellement inratables ! Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre passage dans ce restaurant.
