Consuelo Zoelly is perhaps Paris’s parry to Ralph Lauren’s high end line thrust. The unisex lines include a James Bond in Vegas smoking-​jacket-​style rich maroon corduroy sportcoats with diamond designs. Also, there are knee length riding coats and taupe velvet, very well fitted, sportcoats with loads of buttons. This amounts to not quite costumes but definite flair that is fun to wear (or think about wearing). We caught the massive French government imposed January sale and found prices for individual pieces to be between 350 and 600 Euros. This is worth at least a look around. The only downside here is every piece contains a small signature loop that gives away the brand. That can be overlooked, however, given the unique designs that carry the eye past the token trademark.
