Pretentious without any reason to be. Smelled like a cafeteria when walking in. Service was weak. Plenty of other options.

Creperie Traditionnelle is a wonderful find. A little off the beaten path, and tiny. The wine selection is quite limited, but they offer ciders that seemed quite popular. But really, you’re here for the crepes. Try the savory varieties. I had one with steak and onions. Wonderful. Dessert crepes are even better! Definitely get the salted caramel, which is made in-house by the chef-owner-waitress who does an amazing job handling the orders and cooking.

Reading some of the reviews written here, I’m not sure how the owner/server lady has been called sweet, or maybe we were served by someone totally different. We went this evening for dinner, with two ten year olds and a six month baby, and from the very beginning the lady seemed quite short and irritated with us. I don’t know if it was because we had children, or if this is just they way she is, or because we could not really speak French. Either way, her service made me feel bad. Food was great, though.

Small restaurant with traditional French crepes. They have good menu options with savory and sweet crepes. Crepes are very thin and flavorful, just the way I love them and they can be served with a small salad.

Simply the best crepes I’ve ever had. The menu is in English(and many other languages) and it’s like eating in your grandma’s kitchen. There’s a wide selection of crepes to choose from, savoury or sweet. Can’t go wrong with any of them.

We were excited to try Creperie Traditionnelle, given the strong online reviews. We liked the atmosphere and the service was good. Unfortunately, the crepes just weren’t very good. The couple at the next table also found their crepes to be substantially below average for Paris.

This place is fantastic! A husband and wife restaurant with all the charm you would hope for in a great Parisian creperie. My wife and I went there on a whim and both got savory and sweet crepes. Both were delicious. I got the ground beef, swiss and onion for savory and nutella and banana for sweet. They definitely make any crêpe you’ve had before seem like a joke.

Come craving crepes and bring your patience along with you. The owner is a sweet and talented lady, but she is the hostess, waitress, busser, and chef in one. My husband and I enjoyed our Galettes with Orangina and topped off the meal with some sweet crepes. Her homemade salted caramel is divine! There is WiFi just ask for the password.

Mom and Pop creperie. Fresh, moist and delicious. We will definitely becoming here again. I judge all other crepes in Paris against these. Nothing beats them so far.

Crepes were great. Very good and traditional. Service was definitely Parisian… a little edgy. But the crepes came quickly and were delicious.

Super leckerste Galette. Summasumarum: Highly recommended !!!

Good Crepes. Good service. Seating can get tight(for me). All for a good price. We went here around 11am and by noon it was crowded.

Bretagne mitten in Paris. Ein skurriler Laden — mit unfassbar köstlichen Crêpes! Dazu als Must-have einen Cidre. Herrlich!

Visiting the opera house we decided to take a quick stop to have lunch here. The place is small and unassuming. The options on the menu seemed endless. I was so indecisive I had a build you own type with onion mushrooms and Swiss cheese. My husband had one of the menu items which was good but I actually liked mine a little more. I give it a four because I didn’t really like the buckwheat flour. We had the salted Carmel crêpe and the mint ice cream crêpe for dessert. Talk about indulgence! They were both very good.

Fantastic! The dark chocolate and salty caramel is home made. Cozy little restaurant off the main street. Open when most places are closed in the early evening. I am glad we stopped by to eat these wonderful sweet crepes.

The salted caramel was fabulous! The dark chocolate and grilled almonds one was just ok. It wasn’t particularly large or crazy special so I don’t know if I would go back, but the crepes were definitely well cooked. They were crispy with just the right amount of filling and perfectly sweet. It’s not so hard to find this in Paris though… So I might look for another place. If you come here, you won’t be disappointed though!

Very much a «mom and pop» shop but they’re warm and the food is amazing. Near the Opera, you’ll find a lot of pricey places, but Creperie Traditionnelle is on a small street that shouldn’t be hard to find and without the show/tourist gouging prices.

This place is incredibly delightful. The lady running the shop waits on the customers & also cooks the food. She’s not quite comfortable with English, but she is so sweet and so very accommodating to her non-French speaking guests. The crepes, both sweet and savory, were all absolutely delicious. The crepes are served in large portions, but there wasn’t a single bite left by the time we were finished.

Quite possibly redeemed our trip to Paris! It was like sitting in mom’s dinning room, only she is french and whipping up killer crêpe’s! Very cozy and sweet, and by sweet I mean you NEED to try a sweet crêpe for desert. Bön Appétit!

A small Creperie with small sitting area inside. Delicious savory and sweet crepes! I had the smoked salmon, which was in a tasty buckwheat crêpe with seasoning and heavy cream. Delicious! For desert, I over did it with three separate orders: 1) Dark chocolate, grilled almonds, and mint ice cream 2) Chestnut paste 3) Butter and sugar All three were delicious!

I’ve been living in Paris now for 4 months and my French roomate took me here after a movie. It was such a quaint, nonParisian place. Very homey. Relaxed. I felt right at home as though I was eating at a Creperie in Brettagne. The crepes were amazing! I had leek, emmenthal and egg well cooked and it was perfection. Had a little side salad and for dessert had the caramel au buerre sale w/chantilly, all homemade there. It was a lovely experience being away from the hussle of Paris inside this little creperie tucked away. I am definitley returning. Prices were cheap too! PS: The owner lady was SUPER nice and chatty and polite. SO refreshing from many other establishments.

Super adorable, quaint little creperie with delicious crepes. What more could you want? We had dinner across the street at a Vietnamese restaurant and saved a little room for dessert afterwards. My husband ordered the sugar and butter crêpe and I had the one with nutella. Both were scrumptious. We also had coffee and tea, which were also excellent. The very nice woman who served us(maybe the owner?) was the only one there running the shop. She was both the server and crêpe maker. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone over in the Opera neighborhood. We would definitely go back again!
