This is a gem in Paris. Only 50m to louvre museum. Everything is delicious and price is right. I had tried macaroon, pastry, tart, quiche, sandwich. 5-star bakery

One of the things I miss the most from our week in Paris is our daily visits to this boulangerie/patisserie down the street from our AirBnB apartment. What a great little place to grab breakfast, or lunch for that matter! This is a small place, so only 4 people can be in line inside at one time, but the line moves fast, so be a little patient if you see that there is no room inside for you. Once inside, on your right, you will see a pastry case with a nice display of croissants, pain au chocolat, pain aux raisins, and other types of viennoiseries. On your left, you will see many savory things such as vegetable and meat quiches, salads, yogurt parfaits, and cookies. We’d usually buy one quiche and one croissant amande and share both. That way we get both savory and sweet bites for breakfast. We would buy a different type of quiche each day, but my favorite is their Quiche Courgette et Chèvre. Sooo delicious that I am going to try to make it this week at home and see if I can replicate their recipe! Ask them to heat the quiche up for you. Their almond croissants are really the best I’ve ever had. It has a lot of almond paste inside and sliced almonds on top of the pastry, but it’s not super sweet. Really, I wish that bakers here in the US would lessen the amount of sugar in their pastries. You can still make great pastry without sugar overkill. The ladies in the store are so friendly! They always have a smile, and though they are busy, they do not rush you. But for other people’s sake in line, especially during the morning rush hour, do know what you want, so you don’t hold up the line inside. They definitely know their«regulars» too as they start getting the stuff that their regulars need once they’re done with your order. They do not have chairs or tables outside, so you will have to consume your purchases elsewhere. That’s not a problem though. Jardin Nelson Mandela and Jardin du Palais Royal are less than a 5 minute walk from here and the Jardin des Tuileries are less than a 10 minute walk. Do as the locals do and eat your breakfast or lunch in one of these beautiful gardens!

My boyfriend and I passed by this bakery on our way to breakfast and couldn’t stop ourselves from trying a few things after looking in the window. My boyfriend loves raisins so he got himself a raisin pastry and I had an apricot pastry. Not a fan of raisins so didn’t try the raisin pasty, but the boyfriend loved it! I really liked the apricot pastry, it wasn’t too flaky, and had jam and custard inside. Would definitely come back again!
