Yummy!!! This place was great! They didn’t speak great English but totally helped us understand the French menu enough to order great plates and wine. We got a bottle of Chardonnay wine, I had salmon and mashed potatoes and my husband order chicken in a mushroom sauce with risotto and side note, the risotto was AMAZING. Our bill came to about $ 50 in American money. Crazy cheap for a great night of cuisine! Only downside, we were both still hungry when we were done eating. This was is still definitely a Paris Gem!

Petit restaurant auvergnat, très charmant. On y est très bien accueillis. Des pièces de viande pour tous les goûts, du bon vin, et des desserts faits maison. Petit bémol pour les frites qui pourraient être meilleures… Mention spéciale pour l’aligot, je n’avais jamais goûté et j’ai adoré !

I could not be more happy about a restaurant in Paris! I love the atmosphere! This is just a genuine French restaurant where real Parisians go for a lunch or dinner. The menu is simple but delicious, the portions are generous for Paris. The foie gras is one of the best I have ever eaten, the meat is so tender and the desserts, hummm the desserts… I had a hard time to choose just one. The waiter Philippe is a very professional, yet super friendly young Frenchman. He was born and raised in Paris, he lives nearby so he knows the area and he can help you find great places to go. He is also very knowledgeable about wine. His colleague is also super friendly. My friend and I had a great time there and next we are in Paris we will go there. The place is popular so I highly recommend showing up early for lunch.

Plats copieux, service très sympa. L’aligot est très bon(et servi à volonté le mercredi !). Bonnes pièces de viande de l’Aubrac et plats aveyronnais. Compter entre 22 €(prix du menu à 2 plats) et 30 € par personne. Sélection de vins courte mais avec un bon rapport qualité/prix. A refaire !

A simple, honest, inexpensive and authentic place, small and on a quiet street near Bastille. Enjoyed the Auvergnat Pounty pâté-like appetizer and the marrow bones. Main course of duck leg confit ok, the simmered beef cheek very tender and tasty, the mashed celery roots and potatoes very good, the desserts quite fine. A very pleasant waitress who loves speaking English. A rather reduced wine list. If you come Monday nights you can bring you own bottle with NO corkage fee.

The food here was very good. The beef was preferred perfectly and extremely tasty. The atmosphere was very nice and quite, and it’s in a nice quite neighbourhood. The service was good, although if eating outside it’s not nice seeing the chef and waitress smoking just beyond the seating area.

Un petit restau auvergnat(env 30 couverts au grand max) du côté de la bastille. Au vu du nombre de restau de qualité variable autour, Le Petit Bréguet se devait de tirer son épingle du jeu. C’est chose faite, car on y déguste de délicieuses pièces de viande. Ambiance décontractée et qui se prend pas au sérieux. Prix certes relativement élevés mais correspondant à la qualité.

un 3 étoiles qui vaut plus un 3 et½ … Petit restaurant français de quartier vraiment pas mal du tout… L’aligot y est bon, la viande et la cuisson aussi(les portions sont tout de même un peu légères à mon gout, vu le prix.) Une bonne adresse pour le quartier pour un dîner sans prise de tête, avec une terrasse agréable et un intérieur soigné… Mention spéciale à l’équipe très sympathique !
