Pretty good food for the price and located! Located right off of the St Michel metro! Food was very tasted. I ordered the mussels to start, which came in this delicious white broth, the salmon(comes with yellow rice & peas, and a side salad) and the crème brûlée Everything was tasty! The escargots were good also but not the best. The seafood did taste fresh! Service was ok but attentive. Wines were superb! They have those prix fixe menus which allow you to choose starter, meal and dessert all for 16 €

We were hungry and they had a hamburger on the menu so my wife was on a one track mind. I got the steak off their 16e menu with a four dollar up charge. I shouldn’t have been expecting much, but should have gotten better than that. My fleeting thought on the mussels is i hope i don’t regret it later. Food is prepared in a hurry and out in a rush. Not correct have to ask for the side sauce etc. Perks… happy hour 5e for a tall beer. Oh and servers are mediocre.

MYABSOLUTEFAVORITERESTAURANTINPARIS! It’s sentimental value for me! This was the first restaurant in Paris I ever ate at when I visited years ago with my uncle and sister, and I lived in Paris a few years after that I came to eat here regularly! It’s located in the Latin Quarter near Notre Dame. They have delicious escargot, salmon, desserts etc. I always love coming here because the Latin Quarter is so lively. There’s usually a street performer singing nearby while you eat. It’s just such a great atmosphere. Le Sainsev is so special to me! Please come eat here and let me know how you like it!

Eat here if you’d like to get robbed. The prices may be enticing, but I’m 100% certain the waiter we had, possibly the others, facilitate robberies targeted towards tourists. You will not see it happen, it’s quick and precise, especially if your bag is on the ground. They may even seat you conveniently close to the door. Keep your bag on your body or secure it through the table or chair if you decide to risk it. Besides that, the food is very average.

This place was packed when we got here but despite the crowds, service was fast. The French onion soup is must to get here. I didn’t expect great food here honestly but it’s good when your hungry and great for people watching.

This is a nice place to stop for a rest and a drink while perambulating the Latin Quarter. We stopped in for a drink while we happily munched on the fantastic macaroons we bought across the street. Can’t vouch for the the food, but it was a pleasant stop.

Nous nous sommes posés un samedi soir pour boire quelques cocktails tranquillement. Les cocktails étaient pas mal !

My fiancé and I have eaten at Le Sainsev a couple of times before on previous trips to Paris. This time, I had craving for a burger and frites. They had a prefixe menu for 12 € for lunch which came with an appetizer and dessert. The drinks were not included. We both started with the Onion Soup which was yummy. It has a thick layer of cheese that was melted and crunchy at the same time. The burger was huge and cooked just the way we liked it. The frites were crunchy and great with a side of mayo. We ordered Chocolate Mousse and Crème Brûlée for dessert. I really loved the mousse as it was smooth as creamy. The service was slow, but that was ok since the food came at hair the right intervals. The servers were also nice. Plus we had the added bonus of musicians playing live music right outside the restaurant for tips. All in all, it was a great meal.

This is a so-so place. This is one of the touristic restaurants at Rue de l“Harpe region. The Onion Soup, traditional entrée, that comes with bread in, had the bread too soft and dismantled. The saumon, rregular, not bad at al. This place is more adequate for having a beer with mussels instead of dining. My wife had mussels that were very good. It has tables by the sidewalk with heathers for colder days.

One of the worst places we’ve dined in Paris. I think we’ve had better French food in Austin. Wish I had checked reviews before.

Going in I had low expectations(the party I was with wanted to eat here) and they were fully met. I had a salad and some of the leaves were browning, and a salmon + pasta dish where the pasta was way overcooked. Don’t eat here.

Upon our arrival in Paris, we were utterly exhausted. Our hotel was right in the middle of the Latin Quarter, quite possibly the most touristy place around. Everywhere we went there were people begging us to go into their restaurant and eat.“Your table is ready madame!” …You know the type. We were too tired to go anywhere else, so we went to the one place that was not begging us to come inside and we had a pleasant meal. Now, I have always hated tomatoes. Recently, though, I have been wanting to try them so I won’t have to say«without tomatoes» on everything I order. What a hassle! So we ordered the caprese salad. The reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 3 is because of those tomatoes. They were great! And, they make their own mozzarella cheese so it was even better. The olive oil was superb, too. So, although this place is a tourist trap and although the food is pretty average, they use pretty fresh ingredients and make fairly good food. I enjoyed my meal there and would go back; I definitely don’t agree that it is the worst.

Normally if I see cockroaches at the restaurant, the place would receive 1 star — however, in the Latin Quarter, I dont think you will find any place that didn’t have them so I guess I will have to mark it a little easier. It’s a tourist trap because of its location, smack in the centre of two vibrant streets. I would have never came here if I were not with hungry visitors who just wanted to eat anywhere there is space outside for four. The view is quite surreal though. There were jugglers in front of you, and a scary clown who would go around scaring people and open car trunks of cars that pass by and pretend to jump in. There was even a cat on the low roofs hanging around enjoying people watching and hopefully eating some cockroaches. No restaurant in the area is likely edible, so there you have it. Again, at least it was fun.

The WORST place you can ever dine at. The only reason they are still in business is because of their location. They pack you in as Sardines. The service is slow. We ordered Moules Marinieres, Goat Cheese Salad and Steak. The moules were never washed, as they still had sand and dirt in them, I couldn’t eat them. The goat cheese was molded or was it plastic? Today I still am not sure what I ate. My friend had the Steak, took one bite and spitted right back out. When we got up to pay, I told the waiter that the food was awful to which he answered, that it was our taste that was wrong and that there were no problem with the food. A Complete Scam of a place! Don’t waste your time and money(we got back out with an empty stomach and a wallet lighter of 30Euros.) Arg what a waste of one dinner opportunity in Paris.
