A great little produce stand on an amazing street. There are plenty of other produce stands within two blocks of Les Quatre Saisons, but this was the one we frequented and we were always happy with quality and variety of what they sell.

An outdoor fruit market with excellent fruits breads, canned goods, etc. Perfect place to gather goodies for a picnic on the nearby Champs de Mars. Lots of locals picking up tonight’s fresh ingredients for dinner. Worth the stop.

The biggest mistake I made in Paris.
On a day wandering around Paris, I decided to stop in this beautiful market for some fresh fruit to much on. The people were very friendly, and all the produce looked amazing. But dear lord, the price.
Let me preface with this: It’s my fault for not looking at the prices.
I picked up small containers of strawberries, cherries, and dates, and when they rang up the price, it was $ 50 USD. $ 50!!!
I have no clue which of the fruits cost so much, but there is no produce in the world worth that much money. Fail.
