4 étoiles pour le super accueil et le super service, le tout avec le super sourire, ce qui n’est pas gagné quand on voit le coin. 4 étoiles aussi pour la tarte au chocolat que oh la la, il va m’en falloir des heures de sport pour l’éliminer mais que oh la la qu’est ce que c’était bon. Un peu plus de 10 € pour la formule sandwich + dessert + boisson. J’y retournerai pour un déjeuner rapide quand je serai dans le coin.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars but I figured I’d round up because the chocolate chip cookie changed my life. After a long(and frigid) walk down the Champs, we were craving a warm reprieve. Coffee or tea on the avenue itself is exorbitant, and so we wandered down many side streets in search of the perfect café. FOUNDIT at Midore, just a block away. About five feet of glass shelving houses everything from mega-sized macarons, cookies, cakes, beignets and croissants to sandwiches on fresh French baguettes. We opted for pain au chocolat, a walnut chocolate chip cookie, espresso and café Americano, all for less than 6 euros. I liked the pain au chocolat but the ratio of pastry to filling was a little bit off for me. Maybe I’m just a chocoholic and this is the norm… The real star of this show was the cookie. If I could conjure up the absolute perfect cookie, this would be it. Sweet with a tiny hint of salt for balance, the cookie was soft, rich and chewy. Every bite was the perfect bite. As I describe it now, I can taste it… unreal. The coffees offered a great afternoon pick-me-up and accompanied our little«snack» well. Final plus was the plate of sample cakes by the cash register. YUM!

Delicious desserts! We each got sandwich combos, which comes with a sandwich, drink and dessert, for 8.70EUR, which is a great deal in Champs-Élysées area. I got the three cheese panini with one of the best fruit tarts ever, and my wife got the salmon and mozarella cheese panini with a tasty crème brule dessert. They also have many other sandwichs, salads, and desserts too choose from. Nice quick place to grab a bite to eat.
