This is an excellent bakery not far from the Panthéon and the various Parisian universities. Their main focus are original patisseries(I like their eclairs, grapefruit tart, lemon-yuzu tart, sometimes the flavour associations are rather unexpected). They have excellent viennoiseries. I especially like their pain aux raisins since it is a surprising detour from the usual one, and their croissant aux amandes, usually made to recycle old croissants, but this one is particularly tasty, and the chocolate sablé(a kind of giant cookie very heavy in chocolate and slightly bitter, I didn’t like the lemon sablé on the other hand, since it was too sweet). They also make chocolates(that I did not try) and bread(which is actually also good, even if not the focus of the place, try the marguerite). For lunch there are deals for home made sandwiches, tarts and drinks. It feels pretty luxurious to order a sandwich there, before heading to the Luxembourg garden to linger under the sun(when applies…).

A great place to stop by for a snack if you’re in the area, either on your way to the Pantheon or coming back from it. The croissants are great as are the pain au chocolat. The macarons, are delicious but Laudree and Pierre Herme is better. They speak very little English here, so be patient. Prices are decent too.
