The appetizer here is absolutely my favorite in Paris. They do cherry tomatoes still on the vine with buffalo mozzarella and a pesto salad with pine nuts. It is amazing! I also love the chicken in lemon cream sauce. They have a great menu(appetizer, meal, dessert). The service is always great. The only slight down side is, its small and very good so it can be hard to get a seat from time to time.

This was probably my favorite meal that I had on my recent trip to Paris. I was staying at a nearby hotel and had read about Sorza. Luckily we arrived before 8pm(early for Paris eating) and got a table without a reservation. Many people after 8 were turned away as the restaurant is small, and Paris restaurants don’t hustle customers out the door when they are done eating, which is very nice! The Sorza ambience is relaxing and unassuming & it was a pleasure to dine here. We started with French Onion soup which was good, but nothing out of this world for me. The real treat was my main course –the creamy cheese Ravioli– just delicious! I also had the wonderful Brouilly Beaujolais wine here, which I am trying to find in the US, but have unfortunately had no luck. There seemed to be only one waitress serving the entire place, which I believe is not an uncommon thing in small Paris restaurants. Her service was friendly and her english was«tres bien” — however don’t expect snap crackle pop service ala America.

My daughter and I are visiting from the U.S. Our hotel is just a few steps away. The folks at the hotel recommended this restaurant. We lovvved it! The linguini and the fettuccini with lemon cream sauce is yummmmmmy!!!

Very quiet. Not kid friendly. Food was solid. Service was solid. Cool part of Paris. Nothing too much to say, good or bad.

I have eaten here several times on trips to Paris. The cuisine here is mostly Italian, but they serve a killer bowl of French onion soup. The restaurant is small and has a very nice atmosphere. If you want to feel like you are eating dinner with locals, however, pick a different restaurant. Sorza is located on Ile Saint Louis, and is typically populated with tourists, as far as I can tell. The staff have always been patient and willing to let me practice my French, but their English is fluent and readily available. The food is lovely. I am always tempted by several entrée options and choices of main dishes, and I have enjoyed everything I have tried. I have not explored the dessert menu very much. I can say that the portion of the chocolate mousse is quite generous. It is good, but if I had the choice, I would choose to have a smaller portion of a darker chocolate variety. I have had luck here on several occasions arriving without a reservation before 7:30pm, but it is safest to reserve ahead. If you happen to be in Paris during a heat wave, note that this is a popular spot, as it is air conditioned. You will definitely need a reservation in that situation.

We ordered Sorza for lunch via Take Eat Easy(an awesome and environmentally friendly delivery service – by bike and with GPS tracking), and the food arrived within 30 minutes, still steaming hot. For starters, we ordered the parmesan soufflé with a roquette and pine nut salad, and the mozzarella di bufala, cherry tomatoes on the vine and roquette salad. That parmesan soufflé packs a punch! It is dense and richly eggy – I could have done with a much smaller portion. I’m a big fan of the roquette and pine nut salad, with a sweet and sticky balsamic dressing that pairs well with the mozzarella(which in itself was great, drizzled in a light pesto sauce). The main course was less impressive. As we were craving a beautiful, basic tomato pasta, we both ordered the spaghetti tomates et basilic. And basic it was. There was nothing special about this tomato sauce – you could have labeled it Chef Boyardee and I would have believed you. Even I make a better tomato sauce! While I’d give it three stars for the starters, based on the main dish alone I’m dropping a star. If an Italian restaurant can’t get a tomato sauce right, just how good can it be?

A stroll at the island brought us here. We were looking for dinner and wanted something spontaneous. Fortunately, we scored a little table right by the window in this restaurant. The service was impeccable. The wait staff spoke perfect English and didn’t act offended when she needed to use it. The food was also good. I took the menu option, where I got an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert. I started with the mozzarella di Bufala, followed by the chicken breast with cream and lemon fettucine, and I ended with the raspberry and mango sorbets. So while the food was good, I cannot imagine it being exceptional. Hence I am only giving it 4 stars here. The food was tasty, but since this restaurant is located in a high tourist traffic area, there will always be customers and therefore there is less effort to stand out and be superb. That being said, their food is already good. I suppose in Paris, even the regular restaurants are tasty. I don’t mind getting back here, but I seriously would like to check other options first.

So-so meal. Very high traffic area, so I felt the food didn’t need to compete to stand out.

Spectacular, in all aspects! Service was lovely, spoke full English and wasn’t offended when they had to use it. Food was to die for! The deal was a main and desert for 19 € and it was well worth it! Have to get there before 7pm to get it though. Absolutely loved it and would eat there again if we went back to Paris

This place was wonderful. There are only a few tables so it had a nice intimate feel. I ordered the scallops and they were delicious and well cooked. My husband had a pasta dish that was nice as well. The must have is actually the salad with mozzarella. It is out of this world, the mozzarella has a beautiful sweet flavor and a wonderfully smooth texture served with a balsamic glaze. I have a feeling the next time we go to Paris this will be one of the first places we stop in order to get that salad again.

Sorza was right down the street from us on a recent honeymoon trip to Paris. It is expensive but really tasty food. I recommend eating there before 7pm because you can get a starter, main course & desert for 23 Euro, instead of 39.5 Euro after 7pm. We didn’t make it by 7:00 so we had a one combo selection and then a main course. My wife had the French onion soup, risotto with scallops and the crème brûlée. I ordered the grilled cod & ratatouille. I love both our main course selections and definitely recommend them. The onion soup was blazing hot when it came out so be prepared, but it is quite tasty with croutons and a layer of cheese. The scallops, risotto was a wonderful dish with 6 perfectly cooked scallops. I really liked the ratatouille side and the cod tasted fresh. If I go again I will definitely have an early dinner, where I can get more food for less money!

What a wonderful place on a beautiful. The service was wonderful. She was able to meets need of dietary restrictions. Not hurried. Spoke both French and English beautifully. The sorbet was wonderful. The vanilla ice cream with expresso poured over was something my wife had never had before and it was great. Air conditioned, and no smoking. We went twice. Wonderful place!

Loved this place. Just spent 2 weeks in Italy and found this place to be better than a lot of restaurants in Italy! The eggplant app was excellent. We were lucky to have gotten a table as many people make reservations and the restaurant is small.

I hid myself from a rain shower into this cozy restaurant. It has a stylish red and black interior. The restaurant itself has four tables where four people can sit. And another six two-seater, which can be grouped as required. It serves menus from noon till 7pm, after which it becomes a(wine) bar. As starter I chose the onion soup with croutons(fried bread). The finely sliced bread was covered with Parmesan and lying on a bed of onions. And all swimming in a soup. I liked it very much. As main course I chose the dish of the day, which was saffron risotto with king prawns. The rice was creamy and the prawns well cooked. It was a delight. Finally I ordered the Panna Cotta. It came in a big glass. It had a thin top layer of raspberry and another thin layer of orange jam in the middle. The epic conclusion of a great lunch. The starter and main course were just 18 €. Pretty reasonable. I would recommend this spot anytime.

Bonne adresse italienne donc. f.

Like so many restaurants in central Paris, seriously average and seriously overpriced. Nice waitress but poor food. The parmesan soufflé was so over-re-heated that it was burnt to the ramequin. My wifes aubergine starter was nice. My risotto main was pleasant although I think the scallops where frozen, as they where slightly undercooked but still too firm. My wifes lamb shank was definitely from a catering bag. Coffee and a bill for 100 euros!

This is a cute little place on Île Saint-Louis, I really enjoyed the atmosphere inside. We went here for dinner on our last night in Paris. The risotto was excellent. For dessert we had the crème brulee and the tiramisu, both great.
