What an amazing place to visit. Coming from Atlanta, I’d only ever been to a local brewery for a tour, and this was amazing. Our tour started off with a basic overview of what you need to make beer. We saw every ingredient in its original form, and saw how much it takes of each to make beer. They don’t brew Kronenbourg in Cronenbourg anymore, but they still have everything from the past intact. After leaving the brewing building, we went to the cellars. They’ve pretty much turned them into a museum to beer and to their product. All the memorabilia was really cool. The best part, of course, was the tasting room after it all. As a huge fan of 1664, the only one of their beers that I know I can find in the US(or at least around Atlanta), I had to try every variation. I fell in love with the 1664 Blanc. I spent a good 14 euros in their store afterwards. There was no way I was passing up 4 euro 6 packs of the Blanc beer. I still have 2 bottles that I brought back here, and I’m going to be sad when they’re gone. I also bought 2 glasses, a 6 pack of the original 1664, and a large bottle decal for my friend who introduced me to the beer. I would live in here.
