Radlust – Hollandräder

Hier wird man auch umkümmert, wenn man kein Komplettrad kauft. Laufräder hatte ich noch, nur einen einzelnen Rahmen für ein Hollandrad zu bekommen schien nahezu unmöglich.
Also sämtliche Namen der Stadt abgeklappert und hier endlich mal kein geht nicht kauf eine neues Rad zu hören bekommen. 3 Wochen später konnte ich ihn abholen, den größten und schwärzesten Omafiets-​Rahmen der westlichen Welt. Inzwischen ist Gigantina aufgebaut und trägt mich durch die Stadt. Was will man mehr. Stimmung war sehr Kumpelhaft, und wenn man das Personal wie normale Menschen behandelt kann ich mir nicht erklären wie es zu der ein oder anderen Bewertung hier kam. Ich kann radlust nur Empfehlen, gerade wenn der Geldbeutel keine 1500EUR für ein Supersonderexklusivrad aus den Niederlanden hergibt!

In all seriousness, for anyone with Holland-​related bike needs, this is the place to go. Naturally, there are other shops with Dutch bikes, and this shop has more than just the basics, but if you want the whole Netherlands package (and some extras), Radlust screams authenticity.
We came in so a visiting friend could purchase an AXA lock, something she wanted after having had one in the Netherlands and realizing that they’re upward of $ 40 (not including shipping) in the U.S.
The guy who assisted was helpful, although not particularly outgoing or friendly. When we walked in, we also passed one or two people sitting outside (employees?) who didn’t say hello or make any effort to come in. In fact, we stood there for a minute or two before we were even acknowledged. But once someone came up from the back, he helped out with no problem, and we were in and out in about five minutes.
All in all, a painless experience.

Ich finde Radlust sehr emphelenswert. Ich bin oft da gegangen alleine oder mit die Fahrraeder von Freunde und Familie fuer Teile oder Reparatur. Ich finde die Leute im Laden immer reundlich, schnell, professionel und guenstig, egal wie schick der Fahrrad, ob der Kunde dich mit Fahrraedern auskennt, oder gut Deutsch reden kann. Es ist nicht so in einige andere Laeden in Berlin. Ein grosses Lob!

Bei Radlust handelt sich um einen exklusiven Partnershop des Herstellers «Gazelle» aus den Niederlanden. Dazu kann dort auch die Hausmarke «Burger» käuflich erworben werden. Neben einer großen Auswahl findet man dort einen ansprechenden Zubehör-​Shop und einen Werkstatt-​Service. Gerade gekaufte Fahrräder können vor Ort versichert oder innerhalb Deutschlands weiterversendet werden.
Radlust ist im alternativen Kreuzberg sehr beliebt und wer Gazelle fährt, hat sich zumeist bewusst dafür entschieden. Obwohl die Räder meines Erachtens eher teuer in der Anschaffung sind, lohnen sich diese aufgrund der sehr guten Verarbeitung und des besonderen Fahrgefühls zwischen Cruiser und Stadtfahrrad.

Just bought two classic dutch bikes from Radlust this weekend. They were the Hausmarke (House-​brand) and are excellent build quality. We’ve only had them for a few days, but no complaints so far.
The guys who sold them to us were great — they went out of their way to figure out what we want and gave us plenty of time to cycle around the area to try them out. At no time did they try to push us into buying anything.
Because they didn’t have the exact bike I wanted in stock, they gave me a discount on the one I bought and threw in a free basket which they mounted there and then.
On top of that, they give you a 6 week warranty period during which any problems with the bike will be fixed for freealthough I don’t expect that we will use it.
Although we bought classic bikes, there were also some great modern bikes as well
I would really recommend Radlust for anyone looking for a dutch bike. (Note that we speak German, so I don’t know if they speak English.)

So stellt man sich einen Fahrradladen vor: Eine nette Chefin, die selbst anpackt, eine gut ausgerüstete Werkstatt und vor allem ein umfangreichecs Sortiment an Holland-​Rädern. Wer eine teure Gazelle sucht ist hier genauso richtig wie der Sparfuchs, für den es auch ein preiswerteres Rad der Sparta-​Konkurrenz oder ein No-​Name-​Hollandrad tut. IUnd was nicht da ist, wird beschafft. Vor allem wird man nach dem Kauf mit seinem Rad nicht alleingelassen. Wenn’s quietscht oder schleift –hier gibt’s immer Hilfe. Sogar für Räder, die man bei Radliust gar nicht gekauft hat.

Radlust ist auf Hollandräder spezialisiert und in diesem Bereich wirklich unschlagbar. Es gibt teure Hollandräder von Gazelle und günstige No-​Name-​Hollandräder (200−400EUR neu), die aber originale gute Rahmen haben und schön und offenbar qualitativ relativ gut sind.
Ausserdem: Wer ein Ersatzteil für sein Hollandrad sucht und sonst nirgendwo Erfolg hat, wird hier wahrscheinlich fündig. Ich habe für meine ca. 30 Jahre alte Gazelle ein Plastikteil zur Befestigung des Rücklichts gesucht und viele befremdete Blicke in anderen Radläden geerntet. Bei Radlust hatten sie das teil zwar auch nicht vorrätig — aber bei der nächsten Tour nach Holland haben sie es mitgebracht.
Eine Reparatur an dem alten Rad wurde auch schnell und sehr gut durchgeführt.
Also: Super für günstige neue Hollandräder, sehr beeindruckender Service für Ersatzteile, schnelle Reparatur. Und sehr nette Leute.
