Papa Johns Guam has the worse service ever! Especially the Tamuning branch. As I walked in 14:00, no one was at the counter. Waited few minutes without any costumers before me and finally have a chance to place an order. Look around the Restruant, all the lights were off! The employees there seemed unwanted to work there. Papa John’s Pizza are good but Papa Johns Guam and ruining the franchise name. Personally I will never eat there or recommend any business to anyone because it is a ***king embarrassment.

We’ve been loyal customers since they opened here on Guam, but last night’s inconvenience placed a sour taste in my mouth Carlo– the manager was the person who took our order and told him it would be for pick-up. However, he sent it out for delivery and because they don’t deliver to our house(we would have to leave our house and meet the delivery guy two streets away from the nearby village store-UR market), we figured, since we would have to jump in the car, we’d just go to their location and pick it up. So my husband’s at the location and they tell him they can’t even bring up my number and don’t have anything saved with my name in their system… funny, bc when I placed the order and gave em my number, they brought up my info but then I just had the delivery guy call me to ask me how I would be paying… I told him that my husband should be there any minute and would take care of the payment, which seemed strange to me bc he asked me again and I repeated myself. I come to find out, he was at UR market. My husband ends up leaving papa johns to meet the delivery person at UR market and they both agreed that it was the manager’s mistake and we should be compensated with the free meal. Well, Carlo refused to compensate us, and because it was an hour past the time we were supposed to eat, we decided to just pay the darn thing so I can feed my guests. Talk about terrible customer service! Guess we’ll have to get our pizza from Pizza Hut or Domino’s.

Ordered carry out pizza from the Dededo Guam location last night. The pizzas were yummy, and the service was excellent. $ 40 for 3 medium pizzas, basically anyway we wanted them. No complaints at all!

I learned a long time ago, you eat with your eyes first then with your mouth, and the people making pizza here need to be taught the also, Hell they have pictures on the wall all they have to do is make the pizza look like them. We got the garden pizza because the picture on their display looked yummy, but what we got did not look like the picture, all of the topping were throw in the middle of the pizza, and had no flavor, it is a pure shame that a 14in pizza cost $ 23 and it is thrown together and just is just not worth the money that you pay for it. I guess I was spoiled along time ago on good pizza made at mom and pop places in New York, that care about quality. The gal that help us at the counter was like a robot(believe her name was Nisha). It was so loud from the kitchen noise we had to ask her several times just to hear her read the ingredients off of the menu board, well I guess I could of did that too. Listening her talk to other people while we wait for our pizza, was pure crack-up. Some one asked her if the chicken poppers were good and her response was their just«chicken nuggets», she lost that sale. If it wasn’t for the others in our group I would have never come here, and I just reminded my self why. Card board with tomato stuff and no toppings for a lot of dough, that they call pizza.

Ordered delivery out of the Tamuning location, The gentleman that took my order was very professional and courteous. They called to let me know they were on their way when the food was done. The delivery person was extremely nice and prompt and professional so much so I felt compelled to tip him $ 10 for the overall quality of service. The pizza was outstanding arrived hot, bread sticks were very good and so were the chicken poppers, Ive been here for over a year and a half and I have to say, even though at home, from start to finish the best experience from a service standpoint as well as quality expected. WELLDONE !!

Ridiculously expensive! No reason a chain franchise slapping bread, meat and cheese together should cost so much. It tasted fine, but far from worthy of the absorbant prices.

Political issues notwithstanding, Papa John’s is one of the most delicious mainstream pizza fast food chains(the best, if you ask my SO, who grew up on their pies). The verdict when Papa finally came to Guam? Exactly the same as on the mainland. What sets Papa John’s apart from the rest? Quality ingredients. You can taste the freshness of the toppings, whether it’s a bell pepper or an onion. The meat is juicy, succulent, and not at all dry. And the cheese! How do they manage to make it so soft and generous, yet not oily at all? Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right. Unfortunately, when I went, it was a mob scene. As the newest pizza place on island, they’ve been flooded with customers; our order took an hour and a half to complete. For the next few weeks, at least, Papa John’s is not a place for the patient. The prices are also slightly higher than other nearby pizza places, but I consider that a tradeoff for the taste.
