I’ve been wanting to try this place but I’m never in the area, but conveniently this morning I was. I ordered the veggie quiche which was very good !! And they have hot sauce, jus sayin ;), again, it was honestly actually pretty tasty… the lady recommended the veggie panini too over the veggie crêpe sandwich. So I tried some small bites of the veggie panini. but had to go Bc full from quiche … But to be honest the panini was a big fail lol. I have no idea exactlyyyy what it was. But it tasted like dry. And maybe it could have been the bread … and it seemed like the sandwich flavor all together was just odd and dull… so don’t get it haha. Get the quiche … I like their menu and I’ll probably be back just to give it one more chance and try the veggie crêpe wrap. but they have lots of organic teas and yummy looking coffee and desert sweets also if your into that :)!. and the two girls working the front were very prompt and sweet :)!!

First off, my entire career has been in the customer service industry in one way or another. That being said, when I go to other establishments I am always critiquing what works and what doesn’t. Nothing gets me fired up quicker than poor customer service. Shout out to the Cup and Saucer team — they display customer service at its finest. I was greeted immediately upon entering the establishment with a warm smile and a «Good morning.» It was busy as usual but the lady at the register did a great job and taking care of customers quickly while always maintaining professional and very friendly attitude. I was impressed at how every single employee addressed each customer they came in contact with, young and old, as «miss» or «mister». My order was taken and filled right away. I ordered two boxes of 4(total 8) cinnamon rolls but they put it in the same box. Honest mistake. They took it back without snickering, rolling eyes, etc. 5 star service!!!

The place for Saturday morning«I’m sorry for getting too drunk last night baby, I love yous!» Wake up early, go buy some pastries and coffee or tea and bring it home to the wife. All is forgiven! Cinnamon Rolls are legit and the coconut pudding is a must along with any tarts they have in the case. A real gem on an island full of port of mo-crappas.

This place’s food is awesome! ONLY because of the nice and hard workers here! It’s just sad that the owners and managers who run this business treat their employees like slaves and are so selfish. I was deployed here and stop several times to purchase items and I’ve always got great services and made friends there too who made great recommendations on their items to me. And every time I’d just chill and enjoy what ever I have ordered that day. I’ve always noticed the managers treating their own employees so damn rude! One time I over heard an employee just wanting to take ordinary leave and they gave her the option to get fired or resign. Like wtf!!! That’s how these Chamorros treat their workers… I was really bother by this but who cares since this review will be deleted anyway. They deserve the tips!

Never disappointed! I highly recommend their Tropicana(iced and sweetened). Their macarons are the really good, taste and texture wise. Red velvet cake is yummmmmy. Lovely service. There’s this one young girl i always see who has the best customer service, she makes jokes with me and compliments my outfit, and makes conversation while i wait. I won’t free a Tropicana a few times because of my Cup and Saucer card, yay! Love this place!

No other place understands when I say half and half. Really though, my favorites are the earl grey, English breakfast, tropicana, snow monkey, veggie siopao, vegan smoothie, bagel bombs, French onion soup and mixed berry scones! Excellent service as well. Parking can be an issue at times when it’s busy.

Probably one of the best places to get fresh macarons at a decent price. The desserts are always tasty… i like the pumpkin crunch bar, the coconut tres leches, or their awesome chocolate cake. We always order the crêpe sandwich wraps and they are huuuge! It’s seat yourself kind of dining and they bring you your order after it’s done. If you need any napkins or anything like that, you would have to go to the counter and ask. Other than that, the staff is always helpful and more than happy to make a recommendation. Perfect place to grab lunch or have some afternoon tea. :)

Cream cheese icing!!! Anyone stopping by Cup & Saucer must try their freshly baked cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing on the side, it is absolutely to die for. The cinnamon taste is on the light side, so folks who like Cinnabon may find it bland, but the roll was hot and with a spread of the icing it’s absolutely excellent.

After 10 long years of being away from the island I HAD to make a trip here and have my baby sis try their cinnamon rolls. They still taste just as good as I remembered them when I was a kid. This will be a for sure stop the next time we visit home.

I normally love their sandwiches but one day showed up to order a sandwich and they were out of bread. I always eat the quiche and pumpkin crunch bar thingy because it’s GOOD! However, I’ve always been a fan of tres leches cakes and they had a coconut tres leches cake and it was TODIEFOR! Down side, after having it for the first time, I went there again a day later and then the twice the following week and instead of going down there I decided to call and they haven’t had it since the first time I tried it. I’m hooked/addicted and I can’t find my fix!

Place is only good for tea. Coffee customization though is out of the question. They stop you before you can begin. I only went here because they were up for the challenge.

My dad & I came here for breakfast on our second morning on the island. I ordered the cinnamon roll & apple green tea, while my dad had the banana crêpe & American coffee. Our total came out to $ 13. The lack of drink options was disappointing. The drinks they did have were all bottled except the coffee. The cinnamon roll came out instantly because it’s baked in batches, but the crêpe took forever. I was nearly finished with my breakfast before my dad received his. When my dad did get the crêpe, it was cold. it was really odd because it wasn’t that it was room temperature or anything. It was cold as if it came from the fridge. They must have cooked it then stuck it in the freezer. I don’t understand why they couldn’t serve it hot/warm. The crêpe was just meh. However, my cinnamon roll was good! It wasn’t pre-frosted, so it’s not as sweet. It wasn’t also so buttery like those you’d find at grocery stores or the food court. The frosting came on the side and was cream cheese based.

Okay, when one thinks the ‘Calvo Building’, I would think the Calvo Insurance Building with the ‘Calvo’ sign in front of it. Nope, the café is not located there, but in the administration building about 300 feet from the insurance building. Came back a couple days later and tried the Nutella Crepes(that were unavailable the first time I went into the café – please see the original review below). TODIEFOR! The cashier asked me if I wanted cream on the the crêpe and at first I declined, but changed my mind when I found out it was homemade cream topping. The crêpe was delicious and tasted like a French original purchased from a street-side vendor(this is meant as a compliment). Just enough Nutella(with a little spread on top) and getting the crêpe just right was what most impressed me. Not too dry, but moist and the right thickness :) If you are a local and haven’t tried these crepes, run to Cup & Saucer and try some. It will be the best $ 7.95 you could spend today. If you are visiting or here on a layover – take a drive to Hagatna. You will not regret it! — — — — — — — — — — — Here are the coordinates 13.475722,144.753703 so you can avoid walking around the Calvo building looking for a door to the café :) Okay, I found the café after a few minutes walking around the area. It sits across the street from the Bank of Hawaii building, next to the(now defunct) Pojo’s. I first sought out this establishment because of their crepes and I heard this is the best place to have them on the island. Well… that part of the review will have to wait because they turned off their crêpe griddle(it was around 4:45 pm and they close at 6 pm) so no more crepes for the day. That was worth a star docked. Second on my list was to try out their cinnamon rolls(to-go) and a Tropicana iced-tea(sweetened). The cinnamon rolls were not too rich(in comparison to Cinnabon’s) and I found the bread very soft and the cream topping very tasty. I thought the ice-tea was just sweet enough and a welcome reprieve as I walked back out to my car. There’s plenty of sitting space(over twenty seats from what I can see), a lot of cakes/pastries/teas to choose from and I will definitely come back to try out their crepes(and perhaps a lunch). Overall, a hidden gem in Hagatna well worth a visit :)

Something needs to be said for the barista scene on Guam. Cup and Saucer is a highlight of the many great places on island to get a good cup of tea or coffee along with an excellent desert. Try the cookies, stay for the quiche. Make this place a habit.

The cakes, the cookies, and my main reason for going to Cup and Saucer — the nutella crepes. They’re the only crepes I’ve found on Guam that taste pretty darn close to the crepes in Paris. Service is always pleasant, prices are reasonable(a little pricey on the cakes, but worth every penny), and the location is very convenient for me. Highly recommend.

I’m writing this review a couple months after my visit, but none of the dishes stand out enough for me to remember them. I have to look back at my pictures, so I can recollect what I ate here. The only thing I do remember is driving around for 15 min trying to find it. We actually got lucky because we had NO clue where were at when we stumbled upon it. For visitors or anyone not familiar with the area, I’ve posted a picture of my receipt with the address on it. I’m not sure if it’s going to help much though because I don’t remember seeing too many street signs. After reviewing my photos, I can say that everything was average — good. Nothing spectacular. The cream puff was massive and when you took a bite, all you had was cream in your mouth… not much pastry. If you’re a cream person, then that’s the perfect choice for you. I normally like pumpkin flavored desserts, but I wasn’t really a fan of the pumpkin crunch bar. May have been the texture. The cinnamon roll was decent, but the frosting came out cold. I’m used to the warm, melting frosting. The chicken pesto pasta was decent as well, but the sauce was too runny for my liking. Everything else was just alright. If I was ever back in the area and had a craving for pastries, I might go back because they had quite an extensive selection that I wasn’t able to try. By the way, the parking garage is EXTREMELY small.

Yes, I agree with everyone else here, the cinnamon rolls are to die for — but there is more than cinnamon rolls at this wonderful bakery/café. When it comes to choosing anything in the display case, I’m quite sure you will agree Cup and Saucer is an absolutely fantastic find here in Guam! In fact, take my advice and ask the staff for a recommendation when you arrive and let them throw out a few suggestions to you — you won’t regret it. I had lunch there today and thoroughly enjoyed a recommendation — an Indonesian Crêpe(sans meat — since I’m a vegetarian) filled with peanut sauce, cilantro and various yummy veggies. This dish came together with a side of potato wedges and hot sauce. It was all quite delicious! OK, I will admit it… I had planned to have a light lunch today and wasn’t successful. In fact, when I was done with my Indonesian Crêpe, I just couldn’t resist the Crunchy Pumpkin Tart in the display case. It surpassed my expectations — so take my advice and don’t miss it! I never eat pie crust — ever. This is the first time I did… that’s how good the tart was! Oh, and I should mention that the tea here is wonderful too. I washed all this down with some really delicious iced tea that was chosen for me. Take my advice… if you’re in Hagatna(or anywhere on Guam), make sure to follow my path to Cup and Saucer and let the staff make some suggestions to you for a real daytime island treat that you just can’t beat!
