When 3 thirds become a whole which is a perfect dining experience. Three different friends from different field decided to leave they past behind and opened up their very own brunch place. Hidden in the industrial area in wong Chuk hang, this little gem was one of the few exciting places at the uprising island South. 3/​3rds offers weekly salads and soups as well as cheese toasties, pizzas, desserts and sunday brunches. They post their weekly menu on fb and instagram.
We ordered the saffron fish strew with our salad for $ 100 hkd. I had a taste of the chorizo, pork and spinach soup, but found it a bit too salty for my liking. You can also have rice or vermicelli in your soup. For the small salad we can choose three out of the four options on the day, we had the other wild rice salad, roasted Aubergine with tahini & Oregano and broccoli with garlic and chilli. I love the Aubergine (aka eggplant) it was roasted just right and not greasy at all. The wild salad was mixed with nuts and pomegranate adding a hint of sweetness to it. I am not a huge broccoli fan but I still found this one not too bad.
The cheese toaties $ 65 Hkd was the bomb, but quite greasy, chessy and filling. Grilled the three different types of cheeses and as you bit the molten cheeses bursted into your mouth. You gotta treat yourself sometime, don’t you .
I was pretty upset that they didn’t have any desert on the day, just gotta wait till the next time I’m in town.
