ehh, maybe I built myself up after reading the good reviews but the fried chicken was pretty lackluster. The spicy fried chicken was mild at best, on the dry side with a soggy batter. search for good korean fried chicken continues…

This place has decent KFC, Korean fried chicken, although I am still on a quest to find the best one in HK that is comparable to the real deal in Korea!!! But the chicken here I would say so better than most other Korean places. A good KFC is tender and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside and the flavor has to be marinated into the chicken meat and not just on the skin! Lee’s has a variety of KFC flavors. My friend and I had the Padalk or green onion fried chicken which is one of the most essential KFC items to get other than the gangjeong sauce chicken. This place serves a pretty crispy and tender chicken, but the chicken was not as juicy as I would have liked. I feel like the flavor was ok as well although I wish they had other sauces than ketchup like honey mustard to dip the chicken in. We also ordered the Altang which is a fish roe soup that was pretty good! Overall if you are looking for some good KFC in the TST area, I would recommend this place or Goobne.

I thought the chicken tasted okay, it was crispy but lacked some flavor. The blueberry and pomegranate soju were just okay too. The odd thing that happened was at the end of the meal, we were just chatting and the waiter comes over and tells us there are people waiting for the table… Um. Okay? There were definitely open space at the large communal table BUT we left shortly after that anyways.

Hands down the best Korean Fried chicken I have ever had. I always get the spring onion chicken and love that it comes with free daikon pickles — a taste that goes so well with the chicken and will take a little bit of the heat out of your mouth. This place is small and will get busy, we usually get takeaway and go to my friend place but if you can’t do that the there is a bar just two or three doors down where you can go and sit down and order the chicken there and have a few drinks.

Authentic Korean fried chicken! If you’ve never had Korean fried chicken, then you’re missing out. Korean fried chicken is on a whole ‘nother level of fried chicken, and the best place to get it is right here. Their fried chicken and dukbokki are on point! Fried chicken is so juicy and tender but crispy on the outside. The dukbokki was perfection. I highly recommend the fried chicken with the sauce and the cheese dukbokki. The original fried chicken is good too, but I prefer having sauce. The onion one is just the original fried chicken with lots of green onion shreds on top. It’s pointless to order the onion and the original one at the same time unless you’re really hungry. The dukbokki though! The rice cakes are smothered in a thick, spicy sauce with a mess of cheese and onions… Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. If you’re a beer lover, then fried chicken + beer = love. They have Korean beer too! The food here was so good that it made everything else bearable. Service and atmosphere were both mediocre. They’re friendly sometimes, but sometimes not. There is always loud Korean music blasting from the TV, which is cute. This restaurant is quite popular, so expect a wait.

It was good chicken but definitely not worth the wait for it. I rather wait 10 minutes for«okay» chicken then 1hr for«good» chicken. Let’s just say the food didn’t blow my mind. Maybe I’m spoiled from New York but I wouldn’t come back here unless I walk by and don’t see more then 4 people on line. Wouldn’t go out of my way and definitely not waste a night standing on line for it. The service definitely wasn’t worth the 10% they charge but they are generally friendly. They just don’t care that there’s a line of people around the corner and not the most efficient in seating arrangements. Not sure what’s going on with this place but they can easily double their revenue if they reorganized the seating and got rid of the service fee. Service fee is just inviting patrons to sit longer to get their monies worth. Giving this place and all around 3 stars even though the food is worth 4, the 1 star experience degraded the overall value.

Who is Lee and where is his family?! Oh well, at least I know where the chicken’s at. I don’t really give five stars to restaurants because there will always be one or two things amiss, but with Lee’s Family Chicken(LFC) everything just came together like it was construction glue — except for the service which was a fustercluck. However, If you’re down to eat various types of chicken and can’t be bothered by anything else, this is your type of Friday/Saturday night joint. LFC is a typical hof joint except it has the annoying TV loaded with K-pop on max volume. I prefer to sit as far away as possible from that mess and just enjoy the goodness of the chicken. I liked the tinted windows so outsiders can’t peep in no matter how hard they try. As soon as we sat down, we wasted no time in ordering EVERYTHING chicken: the fried chicken, soy chicken, half and half chicken and BBQ chicken. Don’t bother ordering anything without chicken on it; you came to this place for the CHICKEN, right? Wash it all down with Hite beer and the night is golden. Make sure you come early like two hours early as seats fill up pretty fast for dinner time. Waiting is as exciting as watching grass grow. Reservations are highly recommended for special occasions. A lot of the wait staff are Korean so it adds authenticity to the place, plus I could break out a few Korean phrases just to annoy them. If you want to bring home the chicken goodness, LFC has a separate takeaway counter. Will I be coming back here? *Expletive* YES!
