Portions too small. Service not very responsive. Dish not necessarily matching description in menu. There are better places nearby to eat.

Food(***** out of *****); Absolutely exquisite dim sum. Their shrimp dumplings have soup in the dumplings. Carefully peel it off the steamer with a spoon underneath in case you burst the dumpling so won’t lose the soup. Bite a small hole in the dumpling and blow in it because it is very hot. Then, slurp up the soup and savor the dumpling. Eat it with your eyes closed and dream of fairies dancing on Mount Emei in a sea of clouds… Also, be sure to order the rice roll wrapped around a crispy fried bread stick with shrimp inside. I don’t know how they do it because when you steam a rice roll, the bread stick inside will get soggy. They must’ve fried the crispy bread stick with shrimp inside, then wrapped the steamed rice roll around it afterwards. The rice roll must’ve been cooked separately. It is soft outside because of the rice roll, then crunchy inside, but with a savory shrimp center. Atmosphere(**** out of *****); Average large Hong Kong restaurant. Service(***** out of *****); The waitresses will check up on you often. This is unusual for a Hong Kong restaurant. Most of them just take your order and then drop off food. However, the waitresses here are unusually service oriented. As a result, I usually tip them 20% instead of the usual 10% customary here in Hong Kong. Conclusion(***** out of *****); The tally is 5 stars due to the exquisite food and crazy low prices. They always have different specials every month with half price dishes. Also, certain times of day has special priced dishes, too. There’s no English menu so be sure to bring a Chinese speaking friend. It is worth the commute across the harbor to dine here. Their dumpling and rice roll dishes are even better than the legendary Michelin starred Tim Ho Wan(添好運點心專門店). Bön apetit ;0)
