I’ve been eating at this place since 2004 and the char siu is always good. I personally prefer it to Joy Hing, as the char siu is better and this place includes vegetables and a drink(can coke/tea or soup) with your order. The soup is really good — for tourists, don’t freak out if you find bits of chicken feet in bottom of the bowl. You don’t have to eat them and its all been cooked down to create the great flavours in the soup. Finally, one additional perk of this place is you can get the food for takeaway and cross the street to Southhorn Playground to watch the weeknight 7-a-side football games, and perhaps learn a few choice words of Cantonese when a player shoots off target ;)
