Came for the duck and ordered a half a duck. Fantastic! As good or possibly better than a famous restaurant I went to in Beijing famous for Peking duck. Went for lunch at noon. Place was half empty. Received my duck in less than 10 minutes. Lots of condiments and pancakes! Service was mainly good, but had to track down a server for the bill(and I saw some other tables having to do the same). This place is a bit tricky to find, but it is inside a mall on Mody rd. Once you realize it is on the American 3rd floor, it is not that hard to find. When you get to the floor, you will need to look at the map at the end of the escalator, as the restaurant is tucked behind another store. Very convenient and clean location with great restrooms! Highly recommended. No reservations or prior order for duck needed for lunch. Not sure about dinner. Free wifi from the mall for a half hour!

we didn’t have reservation, but was seated immediately. the service was good with well staffed professional folks. we ordered their hk milk tea and this was pretty good. it came with simple syrup so you can add as much as you like. the roast duck was truly out of this world. I can come here and just eat the roast duck! we also ordered black garlic and shrimp and spicy fried chicken. the shrimp was good but they used chopped chicken wings and this is a bad idea! the piece of chicken had tiny bones throughout, hard to eat without risk of swallowing chicken bones and the meat was too tough to chew after getting fried. pass on this dish! also, we didn’t order fruit but they brought it to us so we thought it was complimentary. turns out, it isn’t and we got charged for it afterwards. I didn’t appreciate this at all! there was the good and the bad, but the duck alone will have me come back for more.

Food was good — service was not so good for our specific experience. We showed up at 945 or so not knowing that the last call was at 10pm. We had just arrived into the city and check into our hostel(Hop Inn) so we were tired and hungry after a 14 hour flight and 45 min. bus ride. We ordered the 2 beers, peking duck(half order), pork and vegetable pan fried buns, a side of rice and truffle & pork soup dumplings. Our total came out to be about $ 500HK($ 70USD). Food Notes: Peking duck which they are known for was good although the duck meat portion was small. The sides are a nice addition and it is a fun dish to eat as you create your own pancake. Both the truffle dumplings and pork pan fried buns were very good and would recommend getting either. My wife and I agreed the pork pan fried buns were our favorite with the juicy filling, crispy bottom, and doughy bun. All dishes overall were good but portions were fairly small(us standard bias though) and a little pricey. Service Notes: They also charged us for the tea(we thought it was free) and forgot to give us our rice(we asked them to cancel it). Most of the employees attitudes understandably seemed very ready to be done for the day and go home and were happy when we paid our check and left. Ambience/Space — Clean. In a shopping mall. Overall — something we would try maybe once again but probably could find more affordable places that are more affordable and can match the quality of food.

second floor K11 mall, first place to have a nice Peking duck with thin wrapper and XLB with thin wrapper. wish they give you more of the duck, but just get the pot stickers, fried rice, pork string beans, etc. for a nice meal.

By far the best Roast(Peking) Duck place in the world. I traveled 8000 miles just to have the duck, well worth it. Can’t wait to go back.

Food(***** of *****); I have tried roasted duck from many of the best peking duck & roasted duck places from Hong Kong, New York, L.a., San Fran & Shanghai, But this is the best Peking duck, even better than the famed Peking Garden in Hong Kong! The Chinese tortillas are super paper thin, hot, soft, & delicate, like warm silk. They creatively give you more than just the usual green onions to stuff the tortillas with. You get julienned slivers of green onions, cantaloupe, red daikon, & cucumbers. The duck has been expertly slow cooked in a wood oven to melt away the fat underneath the skin. The flesh is soft but not fatty nor greasy. The skin is slightly crispy. I do desire the skin to be a bit crispier, but it is still very good. Overall, this duck is the best I’ve ever had. The sesame crispy flatbread is multilayered with layers of crispy, exquisitely thin layers of pastry. This does not come with the duck. It is a side dish. It comes with duck stir fry to stuff the flatbread with. Absolutely divine. Atmosphere(**** out of *****); Privacy booths, quiet, clean. A bathroom attendant keeps the bathroom clean. I did find a dirty utensil with a «deposit» from a previous diner. Service(*** out of *****); Good, fast service, & all the waitresses were ok, but the short gimpy one was rude. I told her about the utensil & before I could ask her to replace it, she snatched it away &THREW another one at me. No apology, either. Not cool. You do not have an assigned waiter, but everyone helps you as a team, so the rude waitress is only a small part of the team, so that’s why it is 3 stars for service, not 1 star. Conclusion(***** out of *****); The tally is 4 stars, but I give them an extra star for value. It is only $ 390HKD for an entire duck, Chinese tortillas, julienned veggies, & sauce. Considering that this is a high rent neighborhood, this is a steal of a bargain. Yum!
