Decent sushi chain with many locations all over HK. We went for the running sushi/conveyer belt sushi, which was good! Many varietes and not just nigiri as you sometime see. We also ordered some sashimi from their menu, which ran at 40HKD for between 3 – 4 pieces depending on the fish. Genki sushi is a really good deal if you have the craving but don’t wanna pay top price. The reason it doesn’t get more than 3 is that the atmosphere feels like it’s fast food sushi, the furniture etc. looks and feels used(but is clean) and the sushi isn’t an extraordinary experience. The price is very good though, we paid 230HKD for a light meal of running sushi and then two plates of sashimi. Every table has green tea powder, hot water tab, wasabi, soy sauce and pickled ginger. I’ve never seen this anywhere in the western world, but it seems common in Asia and it is the best! :-)

Sushi Chain located in many malls in Kowloon, one of my favorite items in the menu is the«grilled salmon neck bone», always perfectly char grilled and tasty and the«Spicy pork noodle», rich spicy(not that spicy) broth with three thin slices of fatty pork on top of the noodle. Cons: There are sushi on the belt but very limited Pros: Ordering off the menu is the fastest to get what you want.

I haven’t had conveyor belt sushi in 4 – 5 years before being brought here, but I still love the novelty of it. The sushi here was decent — cetainly nothing to write home about. I did love the green tea on tap that was avaialble at basically every seat, which was really my favorite part of the meal here. It was also a bit on the pricier side, but you could do much worse than what you get at Genki.

Great conveyor belt sushi chain that’s not uncommon in Hong Kong. Fish quality is usually fresh, service is OK, and the place is usually clean. Prices are not super expensive but also not cheap. Drawback: lack of selection.
