Goods of Desire / G.O.D.

This has got to be one of the oldest local brands that survived the tides over the years and still going strong — G.O.D., which stands for Goods of Desire (and can I just say how its English and Chinese names are so perfectly fitting?). As its name suggests, it simply wants everyone to live better with their goods of desire. And I am gladly to say that they certainly do deliver that message loud and clear. And what can be better than the fact that most of their products embody Hong Kong’s unique culture and also our history? They are apparently targeted to tourists to buy them as souvenirs, I mean, who does not want a road sign that says «Delay No More» while it still captures its quirky and smart meaning?
Whenever I look for stuff to decorate my room, I always come here. This is mainly because all their goods are really contemporary, original and very quality. Furniture is well-​designed and all those designs are the mixture of east and west — which represents Hong Kong as an international city obviously. The price is sort of costly but reasonable. You can definitely not find a place where you can find anything you want in this one tiny shop.
Even if you are not looking for anything, come in for a nice stroll because sometimes the items are presented with humor and it is actually pretty fun just to have a good look at this place with your friends.
