Have been here twice now on my lunch break and have had the sirloin steak sandwich and the fish and chips. While the sandwich was very good, very tender beef served nice and hot, the fish batter was possibly cooked in oil that was too hot — a bit crispy on the outside but still slightly thick and doughy on the inside. Would still recommend this place and by the lines at 1pm there seem to be more that do. Next time I want to try the beef burger!

The service was good here. The lady behind the cash register gave me lots of suggestions. How nice! Their bread was fresh and tasted great. Unfortunately, the fries were not crispy and kind of bleh. I probably wouldn’t get them again. However, the Parma ham sandwich got my attention. I like Prosciutto! We also had the Hero’s hot dog which was tasty. The bun had a ton of sesame seeds on it. Both sandwiches went through the toaster and came out nice and hot. We tried the baked potato with baked beans. The spud was cooked perfectly and my wife liked it. There is only one uni-sex restroom so you might have to wait when there’s a crowd but it’s clean. This American sandwich shop has an easy vibe making it a nice little spot to chill. I will definitely go again when I am in the area.
