This one of my must-​go places every time I come back. It’s my must-​visit place for old times sake. Used to come here ever since I was a kid and I just love how it’s still cosy but clean. Sadly, like all places, it’s no longer as good as it used to be and the old guys with their buckets of rice have all retired but the stir fry cabbage, the rendeng and satay are still good. Order the black rice pudding with coconut if you have the room. It really does warm you home. It’s my comfort food for sure.

Very very nice Indonesian restaurant.
Off the main roads, offers a good variety of indonesian food, when I was there we samples several dishes and they all tasted really good and fresh. Satay chicken is a star, but also other dishes do not disappoint. It’s very crowded (sign that it’s good) but even without reservation we could get a place quickly enough!

Really enjoyed this place! Very authentic.
A bit on the expensive side but the portion is good to share family style.
Surprisingly the fried chicken was really delicious! Crispy and juicy and not oily. Yum!
The beef curry was spicy but I could handle it. If your threshold is weak for spicy, don’t try it.
If you want a bowl of rice, that’s separate of course. (Something I’m not used to since I’ve moved here)
They are located on the second floor. And I’d expect a wait as they were very busy when we walked in. We just got lucky that they had a table to seat us right away.
I’d definitely return here if I was around the area!
