KR+ SOHO 189 is a hip, trendy hair salon located on Queen’s Road between Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun. If you take the MTR and get out on Queen’s Road Blvd, go left when you pop out and it is just up the way like a minute on the left.
KR+ is almost like the baby brother, fast food variety of Kim Robinson’s fancy main salons. Kind of like Kim Robinson craft designed more for the average patron. Still using the Kim Robinson signature brush and endorsing the organic products, it was a good Kim Robinson experience. Clearly color is quite popular in this brand, although I only got a haircut today.
I am new to the area and was badly in need of a haircut. I made an appointment for someone with their top level Artistic Team ($ 600HKD+). Keven Leung was my stylist and had his hands full today, because my cut was grown out and my ends were in bad shape.
Keven was great. He spent some time with me and talked about my hair and took his expertise, with my limited requirements, and I walked out with a great cut. I mean a really great cut.
My haircut was indeed $ 600HKD, plus I tipped additionally out the stylist (10%) and the guy who washed my hair ($ 4oHKD). Staff was friendly, from the lady who sat me down to the receptionist at the desk. I was happy with my experience and thought my cut was a good value compared to what I am use to paying in Las Vegas and felt they were appreciative of my business.
