After taking the MTR across the harbor to Kowloon, then giving up on the long and VERY slow taxi line, we walked through the mall towards the the W hotel to catch a taxi there.
Along the way, some macarons on display in the window of this chocolates store caught my eye and I had to investigate.
After stepping in not only do I see macarons, but also a large variety of awesome looking chocolates imported from France, which were so tempting.
However I had tunnel vision for the macarons. I saw boxes with 6 and more, but fortunately I was able to buy just two raspberry macarons at HK$ 28 each ($ 3.60 US).

Even though such care was taken to package them so beautifully, they didn’t make it as far as the taxi stand… and they were delicious… and just what I needed!
