Just got into a guacamole fight with an employee! Normally I’d give Little Burro a fair rating, but this was a really frustrating experience: first my friend ordered, then I ordered a burrito and added guacamole. My friend asked if it was possible to add guacamole to his too(before any order was processed or paid for), but was told no, that it’s not possible. We looked confused but let it pass. I saw the guy put guac in his, and we thought he was being nice. No, he put it in the wrong burrito. When I raised the mistake, the guy argued with me! Tried to say my friend ordered it and I didn’t. He refused to correct his mistake & give me a side of it; until I kept trying to prove it. It was even listed under my burrito, and he still denied that he had made a mistake. If you see a guy with a poor orangish hair dye job, order from the other guy.

We ate here several times during our stay as we were craving Mexican food. Hubby had the burrito and I enjoyed the rice bowl. Portions were fair and the staff is kind and efficient. If you are familiar with Mexican food, you’ll know that this more gringo style — milder flavors tailored to a Western palette. We noticed most folks were getting their orders to go but we opted to sit and enjoy watching people on the escalators.

Finally managed to try this place and am happy to have found another tasty Chipotle-like lunch option. I’m gluten-free so got the rice bowl with chicken, black beans and the works. I added guacamole which makes all the difference. There are some barstools and counters which are good for singles or pairs to eat at but it’s a pretty small space if you have a big group.

Not quite up to the standards of the burrito greats, like Chipotle, but not bad at all! I had the carnitas — the meat was a little dry, but overall there was a good balance of ingredients. The pico/salsa is delicious and tastes very fresh! The hot green salsa is also really good if you like spicy food!

I had been meaning to try Little Burro for awhile, but I’m not the biggest Mexican food fan(especially in Hong Kong) so I just kept on putting it off. Looking for some late night grub in the SoHo area, my friend and I passed this place and it felt like my time to give it a try had finally come. Even though the shop is small, but it feels like one of those places where you would just order your food to go instead of dwelling in the restaurant. My friend and I shared the beef burrito, and I’m glad we did because it was rather large. In each of the menu items, you get to pick the kind of rice, beans, and salsa that goes in it. We had brown rice with black beans and sweet corn salsa in our beef burrito. I loved the sweet and savory contrast that the sweet corn added to the meal. The beef was also flavorful and juicy. Everything in the burrito tasted fresh and there was harmony between all of the flavors. Although I think it’s on the expensive end for a burrito, it’s on par with their competitors such as Cali Mex. I wouldn’t pick to eat this every day, but if you’re looking to satisfy your Mexican food craving, Little Burro would be a good choice.

The reviews above(or below) are correct — similar to Chipotles and at least as good. After being outside the United States for the better part of a year I very much appreciate a good Mexican meal. This is a little hole in the wall place near the escalator. A little busy with people rushing by just outside. Might seat 10 people if that. I will go back for the food though!

Sometimes you just need a burrito. If it happens to be a delicious burrito bowl, all the better. Quality ingredients, great guac, and flavors I missed all too much while traveling. Very satisfied with my bowl, wish I hadn’t stopped for a snack beforehand(I was a tourist and couldn’t help myself…) because I regretted not finishing my meal.

Soooo… Taco Tuesdays folks! Come and get it at $HK25 bucks per taco. Now, for me, the tacos are just A-OK. I guess, I was expecting some really AUTHENTIC Mexican food! and this is just not authentic. Its basically like the American-based Chipotle chain. The meat I chose was chicken. The chicken was shredded and watery making it hard to eat since all the juicies were dripping everywhere on my clothing. And the beans… just«no bueno» folks. It might taste better if you’re drunk. On to the BURRITO! My husband would give this burrito a 4 stars. He thought it was flavourful. Maybe it was the Guacamole that made it taste good. Burrito is $ 75HKD. Anyway, this small place is located in a «hole» next to the mid-level escalators right across from PURE fitness. No really comfortable seating space so don’t expect to «chill in here for a minute.» =P The workers don’t speak up. They pretty much whisper. LOL. So listen up for your pick up number. Also, they got my order slightly wrong so make sure you check your order before you leave. And they DO accept Credit cards. WHOOT!

I missed Mex food, that was 7 years ago. By then, we have no scene of Chino, Brickhouse, Cali-mex, Taco Trunk, hardly can Taco loca can make the name. But these three years, it was much easier to get a burrito than some congee in Sheung Wan. I knew this shop in Sheung Wan but excited to see its little signboard replacing subway in soho. Oh, Subway should be out ages ago. Similar to Chipotle, from base, salsa, veggie, meat, cheese, topping, to spice all loaded upon your choice. And I prefer their graffiti to Chipotle’s chain style. I am so proud of this city for upgrading concept stores. I got a rica ball to-go for myself. cold rice, as mexican shops always do :(And my all time chicken, avocado and tomato, corn salsa is just right spicy. It is satisfactory fast food level.

Basically a Chipotle. Has most of the same stuff, tastes the same too, except they don’t have steak. Prices are about the same as well, $ 75 per. Guac is a little on the expensive side at $ 25. Wish they opened till midnight, would satisfy my late night hunger. Update: Just found out they’re going to extend hours to midnight!
