Mediocre, expensive amusement park fare, served by an indifferent staff in a hilariously absurd venue. This goes into the«It’s so crazy you should definitely eat here exactly once, and post some killer Instagram pics while there» category. It’s crazy because the restaurant seats are located right adjacent to the Grand Aquarium’s deep-sea tank, with hammerhead sharks and manta rays cruising by. Seems utterly inappropriate, right? It’s a spear-carrying diver short of a Chinese seafood restaurant gone awry: «Why yes, I’d like that manta ray there, pan-fried with garlic.» To the restaurant’s credit, they do encourage consumption of sustainable seafood. Which appears to consist of previously-frozen farmed salmon. Pro-tip: Go early, and make sure to secure a table next to the fishtank. That’s what you’re paying the premium for; walk away if they offer a booth in the back of the room.
