Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse is an Aussie themed chain steakhouse in Hong Kong that serves out proper sized (well you actually get a choice) steaks for reasonable prices. I’m absolute carnivore so for me; this is pretty much soul food to me. This shop in Tuen Mun is one of its newest ventures into the New Territories whereby in the past this type of steakhouse was just non-​existent in this part of town. We might actually have to thank the Mainland tourists for this as if it weren’t for them I’m sure they won’t relocate here.
The theme of this restaurant is more diluted in the sense that it does feel more like a restaurant than a bar (the other restaurants have a fully flung bar section). The fact that its little bit smaller than the other ones mean that you are very much aware of the fact that you are sitting in the middle of a the mall.
Food? I can report that the quality is the same and the portions are truly gargantuan. You get a mixture of sides and they usually confuse the hell out of others who don’t come here often. The soups are heart warming to the point that I have heard some people would get full after the entrees. The rice they do is also delicious– just go there and order that side and you will know what I mean. Prices are a little on the high side but for the food you get I would describe it as fair.
Definitely a place to go if you are famished!
