Been here a few times, menu had English, similarly to the shop across the road they specialise in beef brisket/pigs trotter noodles(in soup/dry). They are pretty generous with the serving of beef brisket although I preferred across the road as theirs was a little dry and didn’t have any tendon(which I love!). I also was not a fan of their egg noodle as it has the bicarbonate taste to it which is fairly common in noodle shops in HK. As such, this time I chose rice noodle to avoid this issue whilst my friend ordered the wontons in soup. The wontons are also a generous serving but not really comparable to mak’s and the like. But hey, not bad for a midnight feed for $ 60hkd for the 2 bowls! Oh and of course, cash only.

I had one of the lo mein the first time, and it really wasn’t really happy with it because it wasn’t as I expected as the sauce topping was a cold meat sauce that was slightly sweet. Just a wrong choice on my part. I knew I had to give this place a second chance since I had heard that it’s really good. I returned and this time and got a soup noodle with pork knuckle(pig’s feet) and dumplings. I made no mistake. The dumplings were a good size, with a crunchy texture as they should be and nice flavor. The pork knuckle was definitely seasoned very well. Though the dumplings were good, I would definitely say the pork knuckle was the winner here. Together, it was a really good bowl of noodles. Thank goodness for second chances. Happy and content. Prices are not too bad. The soup noodle with one topping is $ 28. Two toppings is $ 45.
