Very solid quality dim sum. Skip the turnip cake and the siu mai. Get the pork bun and sausage rice! The pork bun is sweet and savory. It was my favorite dish. My first Hong Kong Unilocal post! YEAH!

This is a newer Tim Ho Wan location with better roomier seats and less«loud» atmosphere vs their other locations. If you’re looking for traditional chinese dimsum at a good price, quality, and service this is definitely the place to go. Their baked bbq pork buns was amazing! The portions were huge, packed with bbq meat. The top crust has a crispy like texture similar to your«mexico buns» you get in chinese bakery shops. I would come back here just to get the buns. Service is fast and efficient, mark your orders on the paper(english or chinese) and it gets delivered within a couple minutes.

Pretty clean and spacious location, compared to the one previously in Mong Kok and the one in Central. Though there are usually lines out the door, the turnaround is pretty quick! The baked BBQ pork buns are the BEST and hands-down, my fave dish here. The bun was flaky and fluffy(think pineapple bun texture, but not as buttery and thick on the top), and each was filled generously with BBQ pork. SO. GOOD. Each order comes with three buns, and I was so tempted to order a couple more orders to take with me back home! We tried a variety of other dim sum dishes as well, but none of them really stood out to me. They were good, but not particularly unique or outstanding. However, it is definitely worth visiting this place at least once! Where else will you find a Michelin Star restaurant where all dishes are less than $ 30HKD !?
