History
Established in 2011.
Annette Corkery and Ann Gerety Smyth have strong local connections and were saddened to see the Hertiage Centre in Ardagh lying idle. They approached the local county council with a vision for a vibrant arts, crafts and education centre in the building in early 2011 and officially opened during Heritage Week that year. Since then the programmes offered have evolved to include popular family events at Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Lughnasa, school programmes and art and craft galleries all f which tie in with our main aim of bringing the history and heritage of the area to life creatively for as many people as possible.
