The best Indian food I’ve had ever tried it last night simply beautiful. Got the lal maans spicy but delicious the lamb was so good it strips apart not at all dry. No not one bit. They don’t have a dessert menu but the chocolate dessert was really nice(I have no idea what it’s called the waiter said all the options quite fast all I heard was chocolate and that’s always good in my book) the Palau rice was good and so was the name bread I highly recommend it. Portions aren’t to big just right. The décor was beautiful and the cushions were extremely comfy with a back cushion too just note there is one grumpy looking waiter but the other waiter is great at his job. Never had an empty water glass. Very very very happy with my experience here

On vacation from the U.S., and after eating at a variety of well-regarded Indian restaurants around the world(Belgium, Germany, the U.S., Turkey, etc) this place is a standout. The dishes were so flavorful and fresh, it and the staff so warm and inviting, the experience transcended expectations. Highly recommended!

The food here is excellent and beautifully presented. No vegetarian main courses included in the menu but plenty of vegetarian side dishes that they will cook as main. Or else order 2 sides as a main

I went for a diner with my partner and the service was caring and kind. Food is very good and the portions very well served. Maybe the starters are a bit smaller than expected thinking on their price, but not if you think in all the flavour and spices indian food has. Very satisfying visit!

Really gorgeous food and reasonably priced! Great selection of vegetarian food which is spiced perfectly. Quite prompt with delivery times. Definitely try the samosas!

I’ve been here on work trips for lunch and dinner. I used to work a lot in India, and am fairly picky with my Indian food — and can heartily say that they do it well at Ravi’s. The family owned atmosphere, varied menu, presentation and quality are all top notch. I haven’t had anything there I didn’t enjoy, and I would say it’s one of two of my favorite Indian restaurants I’ve eaten at not in India, and certainly the classiest. Do yourself a favor, and if you like Indian and are in the Ballsbridge area of Dublin, visit Ravi’s. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, you will not be disappointed.

Have to say this was by far the best Indian food I have ever had. I have had Indian food in London and the States. The food has complex layers of flavors that melded together to make an extraordinarily amazing taste! The food was very only surpassed by the excellent service and atmosphere. This is THE place for Indian food!

Excellent food in Ballsbridge, upstairs but well worth the stairs Lovely fresh herbs and spices make for very fresh flavour. meat and fish are all of a high quality, and the owners and staff are helpful and very nice. When they tell you something is quite hot — It is quite hot! I really enjoyed my dishes and the fresh house made bread was delicious, I am looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu.

Having been here a number of times now that we’ve settled into Dublin, it’s easy to say Ravi’s is one if the more hospitable restaurants in town. The food is always wonderful and if you are a vegetarian, you are in for a treat with their specials. Of course, the lamb and chicken is also fantastic. Try the kingfisher beer for a refreshing change, for non-alcoholic drinks, try the yogurt mango smoothie. And make sure you ask what specials they have hiding in the kitchen, you won’t be sorry!

love this place and try to have dinner here at least once every time I visit dublin. the owners(husband and wife) have done a great job bringing flavors from the home kitchen to the restaurant. great service and really good and authentic dishes. I’ve tried half a dozen of their vegetarian dishes now and all have been great — especially the jackfruit dish I tried for the first time tonight!

My new go to for Indian delivery. Good things take time. The food is authentic, fresh with great flavours and levels of spiciness.

This is my 5* Indian restaurant in Dublin so far. Prices are really decent, they have a 2 dishes deal for just 10 € and I wasn’t able to finish it. The taste of the food is amazing and the owner told us that if we don’t like very spicy we could order it milder since they made everything from scratch. The only bad thing maybe the price of the premium Indian beer, 8,20 €. Even though it was excellent.

Food was very good — especially liked the Lamb Rogan Josh. It was super tender and flavorful. The food presentation was phenomenal and the service was great. I would definitely come back here

For once I will be brief… I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while given the reviews. I finally had my chance a couple weeks ago, and maybe I expected too much, but I was completely underwhelmed. The tikka masala was okay but pretty unmemorable. I guess if you live close by it is an easy option for Indian takeaway but I much prefer the quality/flavours at Rasoi in Ranelagh. You could also argue that if you are spending that amount in takeaway you might as well spend a bet more and get the real deal at Diwali or Punjabi. Pass.

Our family loved our meal here. We started and finished our Irish adventure in Dublin with meals at Ravi’s. We asked for items that weren’t even on the menu and they were kind enough to make them for us custom. Thank you Ravi’s!

An excellent Indian restaurant! The décor is nice but the food is what really stands out. I had the Chicken Chettinad and it was excellent! Very flavorful and a good sized portion. The plain naan was also quite good. The staff was also very friendly and obviously cared about the quality of their food and that we were happy with it.

This review is for takeaway not for dine in. After reading few good reviews about this place, we thought of ordering in one lazy evening. Food was fresh and came on time. However the portion size is smaller than other indian takeaways we have seen. Food had the right amount of oil which is a good thing — always worth mentioning with indian food. Samosas were tasty but really small and so was the case with chicken tikka starter. Food — 3 Service — 4 Portion size — 3 I didn’t find any dish to stand out. Just good enough.

I have gotten the chicken tikka masala twice here. It is rich, creamy, flavorful, and truly unique. The raita is very good as well, but doesn’t even compare to the tikka masala sauce. The GOC(garlic onion coriander) naan is amazing; thick and fluffy, unlike many other naans I’ve had that are dense and sunken. The couple that runs the restaurant are very friendly and helpful with the menu when customers who don’t know much about Indian food have questions.

One of the best Indian meals I have had in a long time !! I would put it up there with Kinara kitchen in ranelagh !! We were a party of four and we all raved about the quality & the flavour of all our dishes. A very warm welcome & excellent service makes this our new favourite Indian in Dublin !! Give it a try you will be hooked !! Can’t wait to go back !!

I’ve gotten take away here for the last few months and the quality of the food is amazing. You can tell the ingredients are sourced well and are always fresh. I’ve never had Indian food so good — you can taste all the different spices in each dish and the meat is so tender. Try the korma for a refreshing take on a classic or the kozivartha for a large kick.
