What can I say about an institution. Ladies, gents and kids fashion par excellence? Trinkets from Newbridge Silver to hand made triple milled soaps from Ireland to as far away as South America. Pots and pans aplenty from Tefal to le creuset. Mixing machines, gas and electric kettles, pottery, suitcases, in fact it’s a veritable one stop shop. Perfume from Chanel to myriad creams by L’Oreal and Clarins. By the time I wandered through the well stocked labyrinth with enthusiastic staff at every twist up an escalator and a few creaky wooden stairs into the wonderful café I guess my wife had parted with £1,000. The café had a range of hot and cold food from scones to main meals. I had a few good tasting double espressos served up by charming staff. This is a department store and they have become a rare breed yet still worth supporting and well worth cherishing. The wifi worked throughout too so all in all a charming experience and we’ll be back. One remarkable thing was free wifi throughout the store and chairs to sit a while if you wish.
