Brayvet is a friendly veterinary practice where pets are recognised as members of the family. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality healthcare for your pet in a relaxed atmosphere where you will feel quite comfortable discussing the needs of your companion.

History

Established in 1962.

Brayvet was originally set up by John Wilson, back in the early 1960’s. It moved to its current location in the mid-1980’s and is now owned by three partners, Andrew Byrne, Nicola Neumann and Pete Wedderburn. Brayvet has developed a reputation for top quality veterinary care with a highly compassionate understanding of the worries and concerns of pet owners.

Business Owner

Pete Wedderburn shares ownership of Brayvet with Andrew Byrne and Nicola Neumann. These three experienced vets are the partners in the business, with Jean Ahern joining them as the fourth vet in the team. All of the vets love their jobs, as do the team of Brayvet registered veterinary nurses.

It’s «all about the animals», as far as we’re concerned. We are all pet owners ourselves, and we understand the importance of looking after pets as carefully and comprehensively as any other member of the family.

Brayvet has active Facebook and Twitter accounts where we post regular updates about goings-​on at the practice. This year — 2013 — is a particularly busy year, with work underway to construct a new animal hospital at the far end of our car park. This will be completed by early summer: we are all looking forward to showing off our new purpose-​built premises.
