Regular customer. Food is great and always well prepared. Staff are warm and friendly. Decent pint too.

Nice staff. Clean pub. Bit expensive.

Surprised how good the food is. This pub is less than 10 mins from where we live but we have never been here for food. It was almost full with after work people and most tables were occupied. Everyone seemed to be eating which is always a good sign. I sat down at the table and the server was over immediately to take my drinks order.
Food wise I ordered rib eye steak which was at the brilliant price of € 15.50. The food came out and was really beautifully presented on the plate. We were really pleasantly surprised. It was cooked to perfection with lovely mushrooms, onions and salad. Came with a very generous portion of thick cut chips.
Myself and husband were delighted with what we ordered, the service and price. For two mains, one wine and two pints of beer it was € 45 very good value for the area. Will definitely be back.

Decent food, decent service, nice atmosphere, but not extraordinary in any way. On my most recent visit, I had to go to the bar to get a refill of my Coke as the server was inattentive, and my meal made me ill some time later.

I must say this pub is fantastic we reserved a area at the back of the pub for my sisters 30^th birthday last saturday night and I must say the place they put us was great plenty of space so we were not on top of each other and whole night was great the bar and lounge staff were really helpful and a special mention to frank and all the kitchen staff for their great finger food they even did a gluten free plate for one of the party the live musician was good he had a great voice but he really needed to sing more upbeat songs but all in all he was good
So if your looking for a nice place for a party or just a night out I’d recommend this place

This is a nice pub in Cabinteely. It’s actually the only pub in Cabinteely. It’s a bit on the posh side, but the staff and people there are actually very nice. They serve lunch and dinner here and both are brilliant. They are as much a restaurant as they are a pub and the food is quality, although a bit pricey (about € 12 for an entrée) compared to other pubs but not so bad when compared to restaurants. There is plenty of space and they also have live music and sports on most nights so there always tends to be a few heads there sure.
